A quick Google search says the actual plantation is on wadmalaw island... Which is next to John's island
Sounds like a great trip. My biggest limiting factor is that I have almost no storage on my kayak. The only time I've done a voyage to the coast was down the Santee river from just below lake Moultrie to the coast. Took nearly 5 days through some very deep dark woods. By the time I got to hwy 17 bridge in Georgetown just south of Myrtle Beach, that's where it went brackish. It was really neat. I actually got to see aligators swimming right next to porpoises. Cool shit.
I'm really wanting to take another trip like that again.

As I left high Point, I decided to eat some Mexican food and grab a few drinks before I head south. I found a little place located in a fairly run down looking industrial area. Perfect. Food was good. Pacifico was cold.
Instinctively, I reach down in very close proximity to my blade. I keep a variety depending on the situation.
Damn right! Having the two funnest hobbies in the world ready to go is an epic feeling!
Slam a pitcher of XX Amber while you're there and I'll keep on sipping banquets on the beach.
Dude, that's a cool shop!View attachment 273384
Let the rain come down! The update I've been waiting to post for 3 years now, and a cozy dry place to continue this twisted evolution. I've forgotten how much fun it really is to have a built Jeep to drive to and from work, especially with half the company so far into the same addiction. The rest can't even phathom the madness of what goes on after hours here and in our own backyards. To finally see it in person says it all; this is what we do.
