So with my new straps I decided to tie down different. They are touching so I put a rag between them.

And they used stickers to highlight that super stupid foot-long gap between the slash cut in the door and the fender. Someone please explain why you need fender clearance in the rear door, when the door is a foot away from the rear fender. I'm not sure why I fixate on that, but it always jumps out at me soooo much.

Im sure they did that so the rear doirs were identical to the JL rears, rather than having a 3rd design to make.

But yes, it cones at the cost of looking stupid

Manufacture new rear doors, sell more Jeeps (I can't call it a truck) because people no longer run away crying when they see it, therefore recouping cost of new rear doors. :D

I mean, it's a Wrangler, so it's not like people are buying it because it's refined or sophisticated. Might as well make it look.... ....er, better.

Our youngest was born on 4th of July. The wife already has him a pair of those queued up for his birthday. Why an almost 1yr old need's a $30 pair of shoes is beyond me. But so are most things she spends money on....

Spent the afternoon cleaning up the shop. Found a complete NOS set of precision calibrated point gap gauges that I forgot I had.






The under 30's here are going "huh?"
