It’s a Jeep thing. You wouldn’t understand.

My first vehicle was a 74 CJ5 with a 304V8 and 3 speed. It was the absolute tits and the PERFECT vehicle for 34 days a year when it was 72 and sunny  and then there were these days :shaking: Which occurred more than most days, every single month. At the time the Cj was only 16 years old...and by today's standards, that seems damn near NEW, but in 1987 it mind as well have been a 50 yr old vehicle, because the whole behind the dash was absolute garbage! Defrost didn't work, fan barely worked, fuel gauge didn't work and fog EVERYWHERE.

in fact, the night hurricane hugo hit, me and my buddies were all dogpiled in my Jeep and had been cruising stratford when it started raining sideways. We booked it home and ALL the windows looked like this. We took off our shirts and were wiping down the windows as fast as the wipers were going. Eventually got home but not before driving over several downed trees that had crossed the road

I can assure you I was not offended lol

That's good 👍Thick skin is prerequisite to survival here :huggy: Welcome aboard

That Salt Away worked really well! Didn’t touch it with a cloth and all the salt is completely gone. Needs to be washed still for sure, but in the interim with salt on the road and rain coming that gave me some good peace of mind.

I read a couple years ago that Beet juice, worked better than salt & was non-corrosive. One state was using it, I guess on a trial basis. Haven't hear of it since. Probably cost more than salt/brine.

Yes it aint cheap. It's an alternative to the highly corrosive calcium chloride used in tractor tires.

Looks a lot like a mobile home anchor. If it is, you will break tractor in half before you pull it out of the ground
In that case, all you need is a tornado nearby. It'll pop it right out!
