It's crazy how many people are so over extended up and down the spectrum. I was talking to a guy the other day who works for what looks like a successful residential electrical company. He was talking about applying for other jobs and I ask him what the deal was. He makes good money and has moved up the ladder in that company. He said the company was nearly bankrupt. The owner has millions in loans and owes money all over the place. They are raking in money, but it's hemorrhaging out everywhere.

At one time they made enough money that the leakage didn't hurt.
Tobacco companies are perfect example.
At one time RJR made everything ....EVERYTHING .... themselves, from the cigarette to foil liner in the pack.
Even printed the packs and cartons and advertising stuff themselves.
They should have figured out there was a problem when they could sub out everything but the product cheaper then they could make it.
 
Statistical analysis from my time spent picking up trash this afternoon. 20oz Mountain Dew drinkers are 10x more likely to throw their bottles in my ditch than other soda drinkers. Michelob and bud light drinkers are 100% pompous asses who drink beer out of aluminum bottles thinking they are fancy and toss them in my ditch. Natty light folks actually are of culture and do not throw their cans in my ditch. Scratch off lottery folks throw out roughly $50/wk workt of lottery tickets in front of my house. Synopsis, if you drink 20oz mt dew, aluminum bottle Michelob ultra or bud light, or buy scratchers, youre a piece of shit who throws their trash in my ditch

Me thinks there is a correlation to vicinity of local conveance store vs time vs distance to home and you’re in the delta….

You're probably on to something. I live one the road by the golf cart place off 42, just down from brewers. My aunt and uncle live on 301 btwn Selma and micro. My uncle tells forks they live 1 tall beer from somewhere. He's not sure if it's from micro or Selma, but every Saturday morning for several years there was a fresh Budweiser tall boy waiting in his ditch for him.

The stoplight nearest my house is one Yuengling tall boy away from somewhere. Has been for a decade now.

Said electrical company essentially folded yesterday. I believe there will be quite a few to follow now that new house starts are slowing and spec houses are starting to sit a little while
