I'm going to be doing something similar soon. Are you going to run the engine management through the SwitchPro or just the auxiliary items?
Everything through the SwitchPro.I'm going to be doing something similar soon. Are you going to run the engine management through the SwitchPro or just the auxiliary items?
Which holley ecu do you have that had a spare thermistor input for trans temp to control the trans fan? Or are you doing a pull up circuit?Everything through the SwitchPro.
The Holley will run fuel pump, rad and trans fans and everything engine related.
SP will turn on ECM and handle power to start and for ignition. Remaining 6 circuits will be for lights, wipers, possibly fan(s) override.
Only other switches will be heater fan speed and master cut off.
Terminator X.Which holley ecu do you have that had a spare thermistor input for trans temp to control the trans fan? Or are you doing a pull up circuit?
Are you wiring the sensor to one of the spare inputs or was there a provision for it?Work was a bit slow today, so I snuck over the shop a lite early
Got the rest of the engine side of the Terminator install wrapped up. In my effort to go gaugeless, I needed a pressure transducer (sensor) for the oil pressure. The Holley one is like $140 retail, so I kept a young Oriental lad in a job and grabbed one from Amazon for $38. It actually has great reviews on some Mustang forums I follow. Works for fuel, oil or whatever fluid pressure reading you need.
Part number below.
Ran the harness into the cab where it'll connect to the PCM. Mine is a Fox body kit, so it mimics it's routing. I'll have the relays, fuses, etc inside the glove box near the PCM. Got the SwitchPros mounted where the radio used to be. I used my superior fab skills and cut a piece of 2.375" x 7.25" flat stock and painted it black. It's the small touches that separate me from other hacks.
Also ran the heater hoses through the firewall to the Mohave heater. Gotta have warm feet on the trail
Shop time will be limited about a week. Gonna pickup a new battery tomorrow. Pro tip: don't leave your perfectly good AGM on the shop floor for nearly 2 years. They don't really like that much.

There was a provision for the oil pressure sensor. There's also one for fuel pressure but since I have a gauge on the fuel rail already I won't be using it.Are you wiring the sensor to one of the spare inputs or was there a provision for it?
Just looked at mine, the ls had stock oil pressure sensor but I just noticed the fuel connector, I’m gonna put one of these inline for that. Wasn’t going to with the cost of Holley sensors but this opens that up.There was a provision for the oil pressure sensor. If you wanna run a screen dash the following adapters allow you to use any windows based tablet and still leaves the 3.5 touch screen functional with the splitter. Windows surface tablets refurbed on ebay are about $100 instead of the $700 Holley
That’s who I was referred to as well, probably all the same. Them, Holley or Chinese lolI got my sensors fuel pressure/trans temp from lowdollar Motorsports
Who pulled the string on your See N Say?I got my sensors fuel pressure/trans temp from lowdollar Motorsports

I forgot about adding a transducer to the regulator. Hmm ...Upper Chinese parts lol
Mines something to do with “boost” reference… all I know is I told my guy I wanted this 6.2 to run as good as a ford and now I got all this piping to figure outI forgot about adding a transducer to the regulator. Hmm ...
Don't know yet, still yet to tackle.that aspect. Plan to utilize a temp sensor at the cooler@Jody Treadway
How are you monitoring trans temp on the Holley dash ?
Pretty good read, there's also a 5v temp sensor on the market that makes it really easy to wire in to the holley.Don't know yet, still yet to tackle.that aspect. Plan to utilize a temp sensor at the cooler

Rife makes some good 5v temp sensors. They also have the calibration info to dump it directly into the Holley.

Interesting didn't realize the X doesn't have the normal thermistor options. Worst cause if you were using the the Holley 6 or 12" dash they have a separate thermistor input that you could display on the screen. The Terminator X won't read this without some trickery.
FYI, you can get this same sensor from ACDelco for half the price and at every autozone.
The ASL sensor has been out of stock for the past 6 months as far as I can tell.
