Who else is running a stupid setup like yours? No one.

You won't come to any of the open invites on here cause you can't actually use that jeep for anything other than cruising some dirt roads. If you would man up and bring this jeep out to say, The Flats, Uwharrie, The Farm, DPG, or my house where I have my own trails, then you could earn some bragging rights.

Your a retard, your jeep is a turd, your doubler is a waste if your not crawling. For the wheeling you describe I'd rather have a budget boost on a Grand than your hacked up POS. That thing might be worth $1500 at most. Post some more pics, show it doing something. You can't brag about this thing with one pic of this thing and all the crap you have stirred up on this forum.

You should not have talked trash and called him out if you weren't ready to back it up. On top of that your so confident you will win that you'll do it for the extra cash to help out your family. Its just another one of your shit talking lies. Your scared.
 
i really hate I was gone yesterday. Also, Shawn if you don't install a multi-quote button I'm gonna start punching babies. Lastly, I pulled a '69 bronco on 40" treps out of tellico. from the top of guardrail, through helicopter pad down schoolbus and out. Am I cool now?

Either you can keep up or you can't.

Who wants a tire with the sidewall torn out!! I patched it. It's not for you rich boys/rock krawlers but it'll get you down the dirt road just fine. That's my kinda wheelin!!

a few points/observations.

You threw down the gauntlet. you said anytime anywhere and from my understanding any toyaota.
So I say, This weekend, at the Vale Farm event. I am sure Tony won't mind at all.
Any Toyota guy that wants to throw in their "pinks" and need a ride, let me know.
I will volunteer to set this up, make it an unbiased grudge match.
If no one wants any of the action, I volunteer to put my Jeep on the other end of the strap, and I will only run 2WD.

And how many times are you gonna leave this thread? I lost count.

You posted your ad here on Friday, and then 4 days later, you post here about how you can only sell a vehicle on this board if you are popular.

I have parts posted on this board, and I know I'm pretty close to having a good price and yet they have not sold yet. Guess what, no one that is close enough to me for it to be worth it, needs what I'm selling right now. I just have to accept the fact of life that people don't sit around with full wallets waiting for me to sell something so that they can fight over it.

As far as your ad goes. You have one picture of the truck, and one picture of the "new" motor. The new motor that you later state as being rebuilt. There are no engine bay pictures, none of the suspension, none of the doubler that you seem to be so proud of. There is nothing of the interior either.

Lastly, in all of your posts in this forum, you talk over and over about how you and your jeep are being unfairly compared to crawlers. You stated previously that your jeep was not built as a crawler, but in your ad for the jeep, you plainly stated that...

Even you stated that this jeep is not a crawler, and anyone else who can see that, is not going to trust the fact that you called it one. Unless, in the quoted text, you were just referring to the fact that it can go really slow.

This thread makes my head hurt and I want to kick a puppy...this shit is better than Orange County Housewives. I just still can't wrap my head around the fact that the complaint was 'better built rig, for less money than others...and not getting any props.' It's not better built, and not proven. Great you like tyo enjoy your self on easy courses...that's my preferred method too. But I'm not gonna sit here and say my rig is better because I can wheel without breaking, it's apples and oranges.

I won't beat down on a guy I've never met, but if these are the kinds of threads you create and it's any reflection of the flesh and blood man, no wonder why you can't sell your junk. Seems your story changes quite a bit to suit your argument.
 
OP you should go back and read this thread again,then you will realize how stupid you sound. So this whole thing is about not getting hits on youre XJ? Well for one it is overpriced and the wording in the ad makes people lol. Being a know it all you are never going to learn anything.
 
If you drive that thing on the road, to and from wheeling spots, you are endangering yourself, your passengers, and other innocent drivers if you have a brake, axle/wheel separartion failure at road speeds w those huge tires on puny axles, and all your expert driving ability will be useless at that momment. THAT is a fact that can not be defended/refuted by any of your redundant, chest beating, I know what i'm doing cause i've done it for 12 years BS. You are a gigantic tool if you don't understand the real danger or just don't give a shit either way. Pretty sure I made this same point last year.

no I actually was referring to my post from over amonth ago where it got bashed from the getgo..who cares anyways. I just started this thread cause I was in a bad mood, felt like stirring up some shit with people and out of frustration.............and it worked so big deal. and I didn't know I had to have pics of doubler, axles, engine bay, interior, gears, planetary, u joints, heater core, gasoline inside the tank, lug nuts, and the cool second ghetto shifter for doubler to convince people what I have. so forgive me, next time i'll clutter the whole first 10 pages with all that stuff so people will loose interest by the time they hit page 3.lol.

Some of you guys need to go back and re-read your posts- people have gone to jail for less cyber bullying. Just a heads up ;).


OP- most everyone on here started off putting too big of tires on too small of axles. What happens is that as you start to wheel more difficult trails than Richland Rd, you will discover that your stock parts just won't hold up. Everyone here has been through it, so there is a bit of experience coming from the advice being given. Keep in mind, the 4WD community is pretty tight, we typically enjoy wheeling with everyone. My advice is to be a little less objectionable, if you are happy with your setup, say your happy with it. Defending it by explaining how you are the exception to the rule and calling out everyone who disagrees goes against 100s of years of combined experience of breaking parts on the trail by the guys on this forum.
 
Honestly...............I just hope you don't kill yourself or anyone else or learn the hard way what happens when you push the limits of capacity and safety w any motor vehicle or what is common sense and courtesy-( not needlessly endangering others ) for 99.% of the rest of us.

I have faith that metal fatigues, metal corrodes, metal cracks, rotors can shatter, ball joints can fail ( or become detached ) knuckles can fail, axles can fail, all of this is MUCH more likely when you subject stock parts to loads/stresses they were never designed to carry. Like I said last year, I have seen what can happen w these types of failures on the street at speed and it is something that can easily end your life, and/or other unlucky fellow drivers you share the road with. If your really not scared of this happening to you or others you must be the worlds greatest BSer or have a deathwish, or your just oblivious to the real danger you don't seem to understand.
