Warrior Welding LLC shop.

I have one friend that I'll loan anything I have.

Everybody else, I'll come do the job for you before you lay a finger on my tools.

(pic not mine, or I'd be sending this from prison)

Insert for a UTV, got to drag out the ol tub bender. Tray is friction slides on high density plastic to keep it KISS. Seat is slide adjustable with seat belts and behind it store two extinguishers. It will also have a Stokes basket and IV bag pole that stores flat. Coating will be two tone. We haven't decided if it will all be tinted bed liner or not.

How much do you charge to build that to fit a Canam Defender 6x6 our Rescue Squad is interested in one.

Send me contact info. I will then get you in contact with the right people. I am the builder/designer in this application.

Not enough would be my guess. The amount of detail and talent in Andrews work is amazing.

Always felt bad getting his invoicesā€¦because youā€™re 110% correct, he never billed enough. Definitely dudes out there charging twice as much for half the quality of what Drew produces.

Better than under performing! I also take and desire constructive criticism. I have a very long time client and friend who has labored in the department of me understanding the worth of my labor from a customer point of view. It is one of my biggest character flaws outside of worrying about meeting customer expectations. The expectation part really comes to head when the creative clashes with perceived value and what to charge. Hands down I'd rather take a blown up torn apart anything over some creative pursuits. Not much else in this world causes me to loose more sleep and worry like pricing custom work.

The creative part and problem solving I genuinely crave. If I had enough work to hire a billing handler who I had explicit trust to be honest and fair I'd do it in a heartbeat.

This truck had a very bad day. Complete roll over. Word was it was such a yard sale the service body detached and was laying separately from the cab and frame.

It ended up at a wrecker yard. The cab was torched from the front mount and wires snipped and delivered whole.

I hope to get some in progress pictures from another fella. He didn't fab but did take photos, šŸ˜‚. I didn't have time.

The front was down 1.5 inches on the passenger post and the driver drove up about the same. So it was twisted pretty bad.

All the door post and A pillars where crushed or broken. I sectioned two door frames and inverted them for the lower window tracks. The trim was mangled so I robbed a square frame from a rear window and formed them for the front.

The doors got cut down, gutted and reframed out to support a door skin and needed hardware.
One A piller was bad enough I pulled a chop and section like lowering a roof line. The center support was none existent. Reworked that and it should receive cut down windshield glass.

Bumper goes on like a standard build but we cut it down some for a shorty filler panel and a tighter fit than normal around the body line.
The whole body height was lowered as well by almost a foot.

The interior got a lot of factory braces and metal trimmed or deleted. The pockets have fillers not seen to cover old cavities for stuff like steering and the normal ten miles of wire and circuit boards and relay panels. Doors got smoothed out with ATP and I locked them in place with bracket on the original door stop location.

Added an adjustable tray because.... firetrucks have them, lol.

The whole unit will have stripping lettering and a ton of brand new LEDs, headlights, and a inverter to run them all on 110 volt power. The grill and false Fed Q will have backlighting as well.

How much for delivery up to my neck of the woods? Would look great in the bay, except that yella paint!

It's been a head down ass up kinda week. I'm at 70 plus hours from Monday. Pulling 24 hours yesterday plus today/night and watching the sun come up from the shop windows. Blessed with a bunch of work.

Sooner or later something will. Shooting for dead and having done stuff. No I intentions of being old and wishing I did more.
