What have you done to your rig today?

Started bending some tube for my cage.

flushed brakes on jk, nice and tight pedal now. seems my master cylinder reservoir is stained?? is the staining indicative of anything aside from poor maintenance? might replace reservoir to get a better view of fluid level.

That's pretty slick!

Oh...I ordered a new Jackie Chan exhaust fan for my tow rig. Pontificating on some manifolds and up pipes too. I'll definitely toss some glow plugs in it if I pull the manifolds off.

Last night installed the VKS prerunner bumper on the jku. Had to cut frame horns off and eliminate the crash bar. 2-3” gained plus a better approach angle. The light bar will be taken off and the thimble replaced with the flat link. Next is to install the Detroit in the front. ARB has been removed.

Holy Bat-Sparks, man. That looks glorious. All I did was install a leather steering wheel cover....

after 11 years of daily driving (mostly shopping malls) the base model side steps were replaced with takeoff rubicon rock rails. More turns than a cheap garden hose with a tiny, cold 10mm box end wrench. so trail rated now, bros!

Got the quick disconnect wired in and the solenoid on and wired up. First off those colored boot things were a pain. The quick disconect is probably the cleanest electrical install I have done. I used heat shrink to secure everything along with crimping the metal finger things. I did use electrical tape to hold the abrasive sleeve thing in place. I hope this looks right.

Looks great kieth, I have seen situations where the user wished those connections were there as it sucked the hook through the fair lead and busted the drum on the winch while he watched helpless, (stuck contact)

Thanks, I remeber you talking about them with someone. That's why I decided I get them and wire them up.

Mad props to people who do fab work for a living. The floor in my xj is jacked up due to the np205. I couldn’t figure out a decent way to mount my drivers seat and keep it adjustable. Decided to narrow the stock sliders. Corbeau bolts to this contraption that I spent 8 hours on. I bet I took the damn seat in about 20 times. The passenger side will be a cake walk and I already cut the rail adapters for it.

I had some down time today. So, I replaced my basic stereo with a "premium" model from Walmart. I picked up a Blaupunkt Baltimore 650 from Wally's for the whopping price of $54 delivered. It even came with new 6.5 speakers for the front.

The stereo is a 7" screen with Bluetooth and backup camera input. I was surprised when it came. It's only about 4" deep and it's light as a feather. The fact it is so shallow means I didn't have to trim the rear bracket like some install videos talk about.

I used a $20 Sosche install kit that came with a harness. I did not need any other adapters or gizmos. I did need a little extra wire to tap into the accessory 12 volt socket wire in my dash and the dimmer wire from the heater panel.

Overall, this stereo is great. I had my misgivings when it was so light. But it puts out good clean volume. Boots up and locks into Bluetooth mode in seconds. It even has Mirror Link for Android if I plug in my phone to the USB port.

The only issue I have is that that the Jeep stereo cut out is not quite tall enough to fit the stereo face. Everything snaps into place. But it obscures the bottom 1/8 inch of the stereo bezel.

Well I started the install on my winch bumper and ran into some issues. First one of the bolts snapped off in the steering box. Then after i got a new steering box the spacer i got from jcr was off.
