What have you done to your rig today?

Replaced bushings in front LCA’s. No more darting back and forth. Handles like a dream compared to what it was. I let that go way to long.

replaced O2 sensor. No more dummy light. Can finally get it inspected but I’ll probably break something this weekend that’ll delay that again.

Beefed up the front tie in that connects the top truss with the front truss. The one from Artec was weak and I'm shaking my head for running it for as long as I did. I guess it held up until it didn't  whatever. It's fixed now. I also put some Loctite on my steering ram bolts to make sure that doesn't come loose again.

Beadlocks are done and I don't want to mess with a set again for a hot min. Thanks to @77GreenMachine and Rod for the help, really didn't think didn't think it'd get knocked out in one night.

Yeah we were bout ready to throw in the towel. At one point I looked over at Chris after welding/grinding for a few hours and could visibly see how tired he was. We got a little boost when you showed up, and just the little help with the assembly line of bolts sped things up quite a bit.

My back hurts something fierce today after being bent over doing all of those bolts!

Powder coated the beadlock rings

replaced the cps on the side of the road in lenoir. Glad I keep one in the glove box and tool bag in the back. I guess it's just a jeep thing..

Replaced the 20 yr.old headlights on the K 1500, got them online for $48 w 4 bulbs and shipping. They seem to be 3 times brighter than the old, hazed lenses. They're as bright on low as the old ones on high beam!
Next job is replacing the inner and outer driver door handles, the inside broke last week and I'm tired of having to lower the window to get out of the truck. Thinking about adding some sound deadening to the door while I have the panel off.

Worked on the wife's XJ this weekend, replaced all the steering components with ZJ upgrades where applicable, swapped in modified WJ LCA's, stock UCA's and UCA bushings (something I don't care to do with the axle in the vehicle ever again).

Also managed to toss in a rear sway bar and replace all the lug nuts (torqued a few with a torque wrench and threads came clean out, figured might as well do them all).

In another year this should be a brand new stock-ish XJ.
