What have you done to your rig today?

Did some minor work. New radio that actually works, led's in the dash. This week I need to swap brake rotors, install heat shields, rebuild control arm joints and new shocks if I can find any.

Fired up the old 7, got it to the shop, cut the front sway bar off (the bolts had grown together) then got the sander out and worked more on cleaning the frame. Got most of the driverside done, decided it was too nice of a day to be productive. Took the top down drove around the neighborhood with the kid.

Finally got all of the hunt club mud off from underneath my yeep. I didn’t realize how much had gotten slung on the roof either. I even shined up the bald tires on the girl. She’s ready for town. Hate to get it dirty now. Need to find some tires before the get together at uwharrie later this year.

@Jeff B

That'll buff out...you don't HAVE to replace it until it looks like this :D

Aside from the broken axle, all those little pieces helped lock both tires together until it found the right amount of drivetrain slack and quit moving all together.

Had to pull the rear drive shaft and drive home in front wheel drive from Uwharrie to lincolnton.

This is when it failed. After several times popping and releasing going straight, our day was over on the first trail.. I can't really complain, it's been in the jeep since I purchased in 2014 and has seen several lashings.

Lb7 Duramax in for injectors, said it was running rough...

I thought the same thing the first time I did LB7 injectors, but the majority of that shit falls in there when you crack the nut loose on the high pressure lines. Some ultra grey RTV around the tops of the nuts will prevent that. Hopefully they went with some aftermarket SAC nozzle injectors or they'll be doing them again pretty soon.
