Not necessarily my rig. But I did get a wheeling tool for it. (And my gravel driveway) actually pretty nice. And rolls well in the gravel for a change haha
I ordered a few goodies for my RZR. Hopefully I'll manage to get in on a riding trip this year, but if not, oh well.
Anyway, I'm catching up on some actual *needed* items. Safety third...right? I'm pretty jazzed about the mount I decided on. It's simple, solid, and suuuper easy to detach and reattach with one hand. It shouldn't rattle either, but time will tell.
The mount is from Tek208. They make several different sizes and even a flat backed one that can be bolted to whatever you may have. This one has 1.75" clamps on the mount body and 3" clamps on the extinguisher side.
I went with an Amerex model B410, which is a 2.5 lb Purple K extinguisher. I figured it would be better suited to the SXS world since it was developed as a better alternative to put out grease, oil, and fuel fires. Plus, from what I've read, it's non-toxic. Of course, I wouldn't inhale any of them...ideally. Readings also have said it's less corrosive than an ABC after the fact.
I suppose I should get one for my trucks as well. Or at least one that I can put in whichever truck I'm driving at the time.
Due to shrinkflation the Dana 30 is the new Dana 60. With the ARB and the RCV’s we should be good for 600hp and 43 stickies. Thanks bil! @Jody Treadway
I saw one in person yesterday at a buddy's shop. It's a cool concept, but a lot heavier and harder to move around than the badlands. He did say he really liked the light on it though.

I pass by there on my way home from work. I'll try to remember to swing by and take a look. Seems kinda like the angry grille of the jack world though.
Definitely. Makes you wonder what they will come up with next! I imagine someone will fab up a locking mount for the outside of the Jeep so it can be shown off as a status symbol. Maybe even offer different colors, to match the ducks!
Oh, as a follow up to my pics a few posts back. It takes the sting out of buying boring safety equipment when it's really freaking cool! I had a spare plastic cap laying around that I stuck that on the end of the nozzle so it doesn't get packed with mud or dirt daubers. I know it's just a fire extinguisher mount, but it's kinda badass
