Got a remote master kit from speedway and a power bleeder, found 3 leaks, 2 needed tightening, 1 needed a new flare. I’ve been trying to figure out these brakes for over a year, 10psi for the win!

First crank since I moved in October was a success, now I just need to find the right sdapter for the brake booster lines to the hydroboost, sae jic?????? All I know is they look crooked and leak

D-bag cat thought it would be cool to jump in my wife’s car when we were bringing in groceries last week and got trapped inside overnight. She cleaned the poop and I ordered a new door panel that came today. Got it swapped out and momma’s happy now.

Also did new rotors and pads on my buddy’s CRV tonight. Forgot about those dumb Honda rotor screws. :shaking:

Slapped my shit back together tonight. Not sure if had last minute things it needed but I’m busy the rest of the week and the ranch is calling my name. So even if I sit in the parking lot drinking and watching traffic so be it
That's still better than not being at the ranch!

Samurai’s leak like a sieve. So the rain we had has caused issues.
All the dash lights on, gauges not working, etc. etc. …
Turns out I had been driving it for 2 days without a fan belt!
Unused trail spare came in handy!

These are Kanati Mud Hogs, not "walmart" tires but if you watch online they have had some good deals. $253 for these 37x12.50r17s with nov'24 build dates, 330-350 elsewhere. Few years ago they had sub $150 35in DOT Treps etc..

Cheap enough to have a matching spare for once 😅
If they ain’t got them Atturo trail blades I ain’t want none

Kinda sorta came to the decision over the last few days that it’s about time to let the Samurai go..
I bought it brand new in 1987 …. It had two miles on the odometer when I got in it for a test drive.
So I’ve had it 38 years. I figure that about long enough.
I just haven’t had it in me to actually put it up for sale. Heck, I might not even be able to physically make the decision and post it … kinda like deciding to sell a kid or wife!
In fact, I’ve had the Samurai longer than my wife!!!

It sat for about four years without being driven because of my health ( Long Covid ). Even with some improvements and the weight loss, It’s still difficult for me to get in and out of it with 7.5” of suspension lift.

The best possible thing would be to trade it for a family friendly boat, or something like a Gold Wing Trike (or VW Trike).
Until then though, the removable hard-top gets some love this week then it comes off.
We going topless until it’s gone!

Installed new u joints, only thing left is ball joints and I can put the 60 In my truck

Order the 1550s and put those in the tool box for spares 😉
I wasn't sure what would fit, these seemed to be the best ones listed for f250 on rock auto.
