What have you done to your rig today?

Put performance governor springs in the 98 Dodge.

Big difference 2000 to 3000 now.

Pfft...you P Pump guys with all your fancy gadgetry and extra fuel. Should have a VE Pump like a normal, struggling man 😅
 
Well I put in a #11 plate cause autos don’t like much more…

Governor springs.

Set the plate 1/8” back from full. Set the AFC about 1/8” back from full. This made great torque increases and revving and making power to 3k easy. The smoke screw is probably really close to right. It gets defacto moved when you slide the cover forward. It had a puff of black from a dead git with zero boost but cleared up to nothing quickly.

Came home and turned the star wheel til the spring pressure was pretty light but still holding things against the smoke screw.

Holy heck batman that is what made it all come together.

Power all over, pulls great from zero….but a roll on from 1500 up is 😮

Anyhoo it feels like more of a jump that when I put the 75 tow chip in my Super Duty.

Very very happy and will probably leave it just like it is now.

.02 would be
Fuel pressure (makes sure your P-pump has the fuel (lubrication and cooling from said fuel it needs))
EGT (pre-turbo)
boost
If room, a single steering column pod add trans temp gauge given your auto.

Another easy cheap one is an adjustable boost elbow off the turbo to your wastegate. Lets you “control” the limit of boost on the high side. What turbo is on it? HX35?
 
.02 would be

Gauges just provide bad news. If you don’t know you’re better off!
 
I've got stock head bolts and head gasket on my 12 vavle and it makes 57 lbs of boost. How in the world did he ruin a motor THAT fast?
 
I set everything so it isn’t maxed and is hopefully safe. #11 plate set 1/8” back for instance is fairly well known to be safe unless you tow WOT for a long stretch. I drive like a granny anyway.

I did put the standard “boost elbow” on it but not adjustable.

Plan is to put a boost and pyro gauge though.

Another friend told me not to hurt anything while getting it all set up and I made this and sent back 🤣

Should be on the bottom shelf. Buy a gallon. Don't cut it. Won't harm wheels and cleans tires better than purple power.
Errbody knows that's seent my tars, know I look for the best solution for shiney tires :huggy:

Unbelievable how well it cleans tires. Like that old Bleach White stuff years ago. I am amazed. TY 😎

I am so freaking happy. Best before today was right around 20. So it now feels like I have twice the power and picked up almost 3mpg 😀

My tow rig / daily driver developed a sudden major exhaust leak on the way home Friday. Turns out the 1/4" for the back pressure sensor wiggled its last and broke in half.

Not sure if my tune even requires the back pressure sensor, but some brass compression fittings and some refrigerant line and it's back together... That little tube is $150+ from just about everywhere so that was a nope
 
Got a test drive in the yard, first time under its new powertrain! Hydroboost brakes feel good with engine off, but feel spongy with it on. Dont know if that’s just the way it assists, but they seem to work ok.
