What have you done to your rig today?

Started taking it apart this morning while everyone else in the house was still sleeping.

Found some tires in a field across from a gas station near some worn out mountains. Guess I'll put them on my jeep.

Finally fixed the ghetto rigged trailer harness connectors. One of the previous owners had individual 4, 6, and 7 pin connectors wire tapped to part of the original harness. At least they left they original truck connector.

I traded my my wheels and tires and stepped back into some 37's. Look awfully small lol

Plans? I have developed a love for sami buggies

Yota axles, 102-105" wheelbase, new cage, 4-link rear, 3-link front, 36-37" tires, coil springs or air shocks, and some good suspension seats.

Leaving the 1.6 or whatever it is that comes in sami's?

Finished the front winch bumper on Lisa's ZJ.
Then I added a remote tranny cooler and fan combo in the back of the Ranger. Greased the Superjoints, changed the fluid in the Atlas and sprung for a new set of floor mats.

They come with 1.3 liter carb'd motors that put out 58hp. I swapped in a 1.6 16v motor from a 97 Sidekick about 9 yrs ago. It puts out 95-100hp which is good for a very small light weight rig. I may want more though after building it this time. If so, I will most likely go with a 2.3 liter from a Suzuki Aerio.

Is the VW diesel swap worth it? I used to have a sammi and wanted to do that swap, was thinking of a trail rig with good road manners and fuel mileage. Just wondered if it would have much throttle response and power.

I have no experience with that motor or any diesel motor in a trail rig. I would not want one though just due to the weight. I believe in keeping a trail rig very light.

Installed new SS front brake lines on my tow rig. 8 new lines.

Pulled my l52 to swap in a w56, in the apartment parking lot. This may be pushing the limits of what I can get away with

Nah, I'm sure Keuster is pleased to have you living at the complex. Your vehicles make it look like a high end family style apartment. :flipoff2:
