Cell Site Systems Engineer

Fancy talk for guy who drives around in a company truck and occasionally has to get out, after wheelin through the woods, and fix something at a cell site.

It does come with the added annoyance of being on 24/7 call once every 5 weeks.
 
I'm a neuroscientist at Wake Forest University (postdoc research fellow).
Not a medical doctor, a research guy (make about 1/4the the pay).

We do studies on brain function (and anatomy) using cool toys like MRI... just a strong as shit magnet with distorted RF going through it.

Basically I get paid to be a professional sience geek and learn about really obscure things with the hope of it helping out people someday.

Fabricator, technician, parts guy, accountant, salesman, driver, pit crew. Part time beer tester, and inline six cylinder asassin.
 
I work on one of the largest airlaid paper machines in the country. From running a slitter machine to the forming machine, there aren't too many jobs I can't/don't do there. Somedays I work, others I just tell people what to do, either way its 12hr rotating shifts and hot as hell in there:beer:
 
i work as the bookkeeper/billing specialist/customer service rep/route driver for a newspaper distribution company based out of eastern virginia. basically i sit in front of a computer all day entering information into excel from invoices, answer the phone, and make deposits at the bank. sometimes i get to write the payroll checks. saturdays i have to drive to Richmond, VA and pick up the Washington Post Sunday Morning edition and bring them back to Raleigh/Garner, NC.
 
I am in the Air Force, Aircraft fuel Systems Craftsman. I crawl through the fuel tanks on the the airplanes fixing fuel leaks. Been in for almost 12 years now, working towards retirement in another 8 years. Husband and Father of 3 girls and 1 son. Partime mechanic but never have time for my own junk.
