My rig is getting pretty heavy now with the bumpers, cage, sliders, (not to mention all the tools I carry plus my big a** ;) ) so would a stiffer spring benefit me?

So what happens when you are in a hurry to drop off a trailer and you have to back down a narrow gravel road that has a ton of turns and trees on both sides... this...

Clipped a tree trying to straighten out the trailer. I was going a little fast and wasn't paying attention like I should have... damn

New 6" BDS springs are here, look kinda long, so hopefully the heavy ass jeep will compress them down to about 5.5

Looks nice Clay. The tube work is outstanding

Thanks man! When you heading to URE again?

Looking at June 17th 18th and 19th Clay. I am now with NCKrawlers and it will be a group of us.
Thats if I can go. I still haven't asked the wife yet and unsure about work..

Paint

Paint turned out nice Clay... good job

Thanks PJ, but I think the "good job" goes to the fabricator :D

On a side note PJ, I was at URE last week, and decided to take the tough line on Kodak... almost tested out the cage haha, I had the jeep on just the passenger side tires, and for a second thought "yep, we are going over"

Baller man! When I go up a size in tires again ill be buying a set of those for sure

Thanks man! I am looking forward to seeing what these things will do in Harlan. I have always run Trxus MTs, so these are a big step up for me.

Look what was waiting for me when I got home...

still 35s

Finally, the jeep is back on all four tires. BDS springs are in, bump stops installed, PBRs are mounted and 9oz of airsoft beads in them. Still need the shocks to get here. Still need to replace the cracked radiator.

I hope the springs settle a little, but I am extremely happy so far. I can't wait to get the jeep on the trail.

Looks sweet. I bet that exo adds a lot of rigidity to the unibody. Tires should work great! PBRs do some real work on the trail. I'm considering a 37" PBR as my next tire.

Thanks man, the Exo makes it so much stiffer now, along with uni stiffiners for the long arms; the rig is pretty solid not a whole lot of body flex.
