Who's reading what??

Depending on what room I happen to be in:

Preston Tucker and His Battle to Build the Car of Tomorrow by Steve Lehto (Bedroom)

Flying Fortress: The Illustrated Biography of the B-17s and the Men who Flew Them by Edward Jablonski. (Bathroom)

The Devil in the White City by Erik Larson (kitchen)

One Year After by William Forstchen ( on my phone for when I am waiting on people to show up when they say)

Just finished The Fisherman's Tomb by John O'Neill, which was excellent.

This book. Is probably a good fit for some of y'al... The God of Wild Places by Tony Jones.

From the jacket: "Millions of Americans, disillusioned with organized religion, yearn for meaning and transcendence in their lives, and many are finding that in nature. When pastor and theologian Tony Jones, PhD, had his crisis of faith, brought on by personal trauma and broken relationships, he sought solace in the outdoors --- paddling a canoe, hunting with his dog, butchering deer. He left the orderly pews and numbered hymns for chaotic and untamed spaces. And he rediscovered God -- a God who brings peace in the midst of storms, a God who lives in the community of our fellow creatures, a God who is acquainted with death. This is the God of wild places."

One quote from the introduction, that is similar to what my dad used to say.... "I'd rather be sitting in a fishing boat thinking about God than sitting in church thinking about fishing." Truth.

This is the book that the Tom Cruise movie 'Edge of Tomorrow' was based on.

About 90% finished with it.

I wouldn't recommend it. The movie was better.

I've been getting into the LitRPG lately.

Dungeon Crawler Carl(all 7 books so far) by Matt Dinniman is fantastic and I'm currently about 3/4's through Kaiju:Battlefield Surgeon

With the books coming out about the behind the scenes of the Biden/Harris Whitehouse Ill probably pick up a couple. In a year or two when they are on the discount rack or second hand from McKays.

Vince Flynn is one of the greats!!
I actually got started on this series kind of stuff random. Our library does homeschool days on Mondays, and I go anytime im off work. The spine of kill shot just happened to catch my eye and I had them order in American Assassin. I just finished The Third Option when this one came in. But, Denied Access isn't written by Flynn. So far its been good but im not a fan of how it jumps around.

Also started the Gray Man series.
