Hey guys. John and I left the hospital at about four this morning. Mike is making some great improvements compared to earlier yesterday, but he still has a long way to go and can certainly use your continued thoughts and prayers.

Just talked to Val ( Mike's wife )

Mike had a pretty sever stroke last night, they have found the clot in his brain, they are trying to dissolve it ( with some success ) at this time. He is able to respond to some commands ( stick out tongue, wiggle fingers......) but there is still worry about how much damage may be done.

he has been upgraded from "extremely serious" to serious condition ( how much difference is that ? ) but there is some progress being made.

As said, the next few days will tell the story

They are at UNC, Val is wiped out tired, they could both use your thoughts and prayers.
