There was an Outback in the original URE 4x4Cross race back in '08 that went around the Rocky Mountain Loop.

That was exactly my point.
Dude doesn't seem to understand that a late '0s F150 has a longer wheelbase than the majority of vehicles that the trails were actually intended for.
So, he scrapes... because he's not in the right vehicle.
Not the trail's fault.

Check out the pics and videos thread in the CTB forum to get a feel for more of the trail. You'll especially want to check out the briar video since you're running that blazer :D

Epic event...how that dude convinced someone to let that race happen was a feat. One of the best salesmen I've ever met. Watching an EB barrel roll the first turn was nuts. Would be awesome if someone could pull that event off again.

That was the death of @RenegadeT CJ7. I don't think it has left his driveway since returning home from that race, LOL.
 
That's the event that pretty much did me in too. Spent a ton of time and money prepping, then had a niggling problem with a clutch fitting end my day before i even got to Kodak rock.

I actually saw a Baja bug out there this spring. We were camping on Dutch John, and it went up the hill climb around 30mph. Second only to a sami with a loud blow off valve that had to be going at least 45mph!

I actually considered throwing a caveat out there to the tune of "unless you drive an old Willys" but I didn't. I thought it might soften the blow.

Which card are you referring to? Because if it's a discount card to whinygashes.com I hear that's by invite only and I'm not a member.
