What have you done to your rig today?

Tore my wife's bike down and adjusted the valves. Tore the carb down also but I'm waiting on the carb kit to come in.

Traded it and got my old Yukon back.

I hate a damn Jeep. :fuck-you:

What happened? Your first reviews of it were so positive. What cratered and had you going back for the Yukon?
I prefer the GM platform.
Besides, me and the Yukon have been through a lot. Getting shot at by some b****ass aligator hunters, thousand year floods, rear end a Toyota Prius , camping in 0 degree weather with the rear seats folded down, heat on and snug as a bug in a rug. Could a wk1 do that? No. It would piss it's panties.

Rolled it off the trailer. Looked at it in disgust and hooked the trailer up and left

Did you give it the evil mustache look?

Last race the bike felt weak. It had 60hrs on it so it was due for rings so I pulled it apart for "preventative maintenance". Too late.

Bad fuel, detonation...bitch still pulled a holeshot and finished a 2hr hare scramble. Gotta love a 2stroke.

Ever try klotz super techniplate, or degummed castor oil? Stuff is amazing in 2 stroke engines. Run it exclusively in my chainsaws.. better lubrication, ring seal & anti wear properties than other oils. Other than the pinched ring land, I've literally saved seized saws that seized on non castor oils and won't seize on castor....

I used to run SuperTechniplate in my 125's. It's a great oil but for lugging to mid rpm use with short bursts at WFO around in the woods it has too high of a flash point and isn't burned optimally in those conditions. On a small bore that gets held WFO all the time it works great. Fortunately this one didn't seize. It actually kicked over and ran but was just weak right up until the moment I pulled it apart. This was a low octane detonation issue.

Do you run NC or VA series? Or another one?

VXCS is the only one I run the whole series in. VCHSS is a good series too, but I haven't made it to one yet. I will run NCHSA if they are at a track I like, but they are almost guaranteed to not start on time. Mid East is a solid series but sometimes a little far for a day trip for me. I'll try to run their Yadkinville Stomp race in October. Its where they used to hold the GNCC.

I run Klotz Benol on my 2 stroke KTM 150 and like it.

A few friends run VXCS @jabrake88 is one of them and is leading his group right now (vet c). Our friend Sheldon runs them as well (that a few on here know from a while back). I still need to get out there and run one. A pretty good group is doing Brushy Friday/Saturday and some staying on Sunday if you want to come out.

Ah no shit. I'm pretty sure Sheldon was at the Brushy spring break ride a few weeks back and JB was parked next to me at the last race. Come run one for sure. Its a good time. I won't have the bike back together til later next week (hoping haha) but yall have fun. Be sure to hit all of the new 9C extension...Its fun...lol

^I just realized this afternoon that I have a body mount on my truck with the same situation.

The driver's side wasn't much better. It got dark on me so I didn't get to the rear shocks. I expect they'll be about the same when I change them tonight.

Thats factory...just making it easier to pull the cab on that thing :D
And now the dilemma starts...
If I'm replacing one body mount, I should replace all of them.
And if I'm replacing all of them, I'll have the cab loose.
And if I have the cab loose, I should fix that oil leak.
And if I have the cab off and the motor exposed, I should "bulletproof" it.
And if I bulletproof it, I should put a new converter on the trans.
And if I have a bulletproofed engine with a good converter, I should turn it up more.
And if I turn it up more, I should get better turbos...

Guess I'll just replace that one body mount...

All facts...I had a similar train of thought when I opened that engine the other night.
