Deal with this shit everyday in my line of work. I normally tell the customers it’s a good thing EMS isn’t looking for you while you’re stroked out in the floor. Put a damn number at the road and on your house people!

Y'all ain't got google maps? Just go to the blue dot and holller for me!
Google maps isnt that accurate in rural areas in the mountains. Having someone outside to wave down first responders is very helpful but most people dont think about doing that.

Another thing make sure your drive way is big enough to fit an ambulance and another vehicle. With room for them to turn around.

A while back, the Central Fire Department had a sign out front reminding people that their house number must be visible to them at the road. It was the Fedex driver that pointed out to the Chief that the Fire Department doesn't have a number on their building or sign. Irony is a dish best served cold.... with fava beans and a nice Chianti.

Of course. We are kings of "do as I say, not as I do." My house numbers need replacing right now, and smoke detector batteries every time the time changes? Yeah that doesn't happen. Hell I run the FD Facebook page (for two FDs!) and make all the post about doing this stuff and still forget to do it :shaking::shaking:

Likewise! In Charlotte, it's been the Law for as long as I can remember, but like Most Laws, it's Not enforced! Businesses are even Worse!

I need a nice reflective address sign. Where is the best place to get them?

A small orthodox church in a small village outside the Russian city of Voronzh.
I was invited to attend the baptism of my wife's cousin newborn daughter. My wife is also the godmother of said child.

Was really interesting to see this.

If you have an Agrisupply nearby, they have a nice one. Green metal, 3m reflective sticky number set. Was around eight bucks.

I could see the top of this thing way back in the woods behind my neighbors house. Couldn’t tell what it was. He finally drug it up to the road today. I haven’t had a chance to ask him what his plans are. Hopefully something cool.
