I usually use zip ties not hose clamps, but that works when all the clips break and you can't get another connector housing..

Um Lane and I actually made something similar a couple weeks back. But I used roof flashing tin.

Of course I need a 6" exhaust coupler and the attachment poitn was broke off decades ago and it wasnt worth $650 and however many snapped bolts.

I've done this. I think it was a green beans can and some exhaust patch in a tube. Lasted forever.

Two years ago I made a patch on my Yota that was 2 soda cans w/ the ends cut off and sliced down the middle, the wrapped around, overlapping, then covered in metal foil tape. Still holds fine today.

Mine was two Pepsi cans. But if you use Monster or Red Bull I'm sure it will have a bigger charge.... at least temporarily, then it'll run like crap.
