Cl find of the day

This popped up in my Social Media feed
1964 Studebaker Commander Wagonaire | eBay

Thought nothing of it, then happened to think if you dropped that body as/is onto a JKU frame and drive, and used the JKU dash/steering etc, how epic a ride that would be.

Did anyone happen to notice it is parked in front of Gas Monkey Garage? Purchasing anything from them guarantees you will get something they paid 20% of asking price for, and it is likely to be a significantly larger POS then advertised. Not to mention, you will get the pleasure of being on the show looking like the sucker that bought their garbage.....I am not sure you could pay me enough to stand within 15' of Dick Rawlins, punching him in the face is on my bucket list, and I don't feel like going to jail in texas.

So when did making money off a vehicle become a crime?

Nothing wrong with making money, I know the "don't hate the playa, hate the game" moto....but he is the epitome of a sleazy car salesman, he plays hard on all the faults to push the price down when he buys, then tells the next buyer how dumb they are for being concerned about the same stuff.

The dude was appropriately named, and he is definitely his own number 1 fan, he has done a good job at leveraging his TV show to make people with money pay extraordinary amounts for vehicles that aren't worth half of what he sold them for, aside from that, he has no redeeming qualities......and he wears too much jewelry.......there.....I fawking said it!

I hated him on gas monkey but i kinda like his garage rehab show.

I don't particularly like him, some of the cars they do are cool. But don't we all talk about the faults of a vehicle to get the price down? If the people pay the money then it is worth it to them. You also have to remember that it is a "reality" TV show playing fast and loose with the word reality like all the other shows.

I really get annoyed at all the people who try to act just like him.....it and some other personalities and shows have made the old era car market a circus.
