Random pic thread.

I may not have fancy guests like @McCracken, but @willness33 brought his carriage over to the @jeepinmatt plantation last night for some buggy repairs. And he was nice enough to help me unload and teardown the new bushhog I bought for my dad. Here's the current status of his KingKutter:

Found him a 5ft Dunham brand that is well built and in pretty good shape for $380. It could use a coat of paint...

And maybe a shaft seal...

But it'll certainly be less likely to throw a chunk of metal through the back of his head.
What kind of car / truck thing, with the side pipe, next to the bushhog? I can't figure that one out!

Nice of the millionaires, to provide us po folk, jobs! Driving out old Business 16, through Denver, it seems fairly flat. Just like the contractor said, didn't know we was That high up from Lake Norman! Like a Mountain top, & This isn't the highest point, but it's near the end of the Cove.
I might, could make it down that 500 foot walk, to the dock, but How the Heck would I get back up? Sheese!

No idea. It's at the guys farm where I got the bushhog. I don't remember it being anything interesting or noteworthy.

Picked up a sweet Baldor grinder from @jeepcj3a this evening and got to check out his awesome shop and tools, then met up with my hombre @Andy J. for a good meal at some cool place in Winston.

From there I headed east. I don't drive drive my car at night that much, but I quickly realized its kind of annoying cruising all the country backroads with a car that identifies as a Christmas tree.

I'm pretty sure it's an ABS sensor going bad, but from all the lights you'd think it was about to blow up.

Anyway, made really good time

And decided to enjoy the full moon and catch up on NC4X4 while I decompress. Looking forward to the next couple of days.

You were afforded the SAME opportunities as rich folks, you just chose not to play the game. So be happy in your decision and don't look down on the guy that decided he WASN'T gonna settle for having a new truck with a 6.2, a badass Golden eagle and a closet of Jorts that would make any vette owner jealous :huggy:

I think Roscoe may be plotting to kill me.

The simple steps to figure that out;

Do you live in Roscoe's House? -> Is Roscoe a cat? -> Are you a Human? -> Roscoe is plotting to kill you.

Rather large yellowjacket nest that was under a railroad tie near my house. They weren't happy when I rolled the tie over to expose their home. I waited until about dark and about half drunk to go charging toward the nest with my propane weed burner set to full throttle with a 6 foot flame. My wife said the bees were turning into little fireballs as they tried to escape their fate.

Alcohol, flame thrower, aggressive behavior. This post has it all.
