Throwing in the towel - my MarsFab buggy build

Chris has been working but I've been slacking on updating since I got back from vacation.

Brakes and fuel system are plumbed. Remote fuel filler is made. Intake is done. Fan shroud is done. Orbital is mounted He's working on plumbing the steering now.

I saw this rig in person yesterday. BADASS!!!
Awesome work by Chris as usual...

How does all of this welding not warp the steel? AWESOME job BTW! That's beautiful!
Warp which part? Warpage on the chassis is usually negligible. The axles are where you have to worry about it. Most of the welding on the axles is done in phases allowing it to cool between welds and trying not to do any overly long welds on the axle tube consecutively.

Axles is what I was concerned with...

Your buggy looks awesome! I need to throw in the towel too. I haven't been wheeling in 5.5 years.

every time i see this i end up making motor noises......but they aren't the v8 screaming type. More the kind coming from a really content 2 year old lost in his head. I love it!
