Rebuilt wiring in the Jeep Hurricane. I bought this off of a member 10 years ago and the grandkids road the crap out of it. It runs a 12v wheelchair battery and will literally run for hours. For some reason however it was not fused before. About 6 years ago, the grandkids were riding it and jumped off and said papa, Jeep is on fire. I ran to the side of the shop and sure enough it WAS on fire! Got it put out and has sit since then. Fast forward and 3 more grandkids, so I figured I would rewire it for more use.
Not sure what happened, but wire got extremely hot!

I got everything replaced, with an in line fuse this time and now it can abused some more.

No pictures, but CV axles and lower control arms on the Tacoma. Every part, bushing, nut, and bolt has been replaced on the front end of this thing. If it still rides like crap, I give up. Finished up last night and started to top off the front diff only to find out the previous owner rounded the fill screw. It’s a number 10 hex that somebody rounded and then drove a torque bit into it and rounded that too. I don’t have a welder to melt a nut onto it. Thought about cutting a notch and going the chisel route but I’m worried about damaging the diff. May try hammering in a bigger torque head but there’s not much room to swang a hammer. I enjoy wrenching on projects but I absolutely hate having to wrench on a daily driver that you need.

Edit: Hobo freight extractor for the win! Its out. Now I’ll get it aligned and see what I didn’t fix.

Started installing harnesses, fixed adjustment on shift cable, topped off fluids, learned the low pressure fitting on my hydro boost was stripped so I ordered a new Bosch unit from rock auto. Replaced a brake caliper with a stripped bleed port. Reman parts have been letting me down on this build

Need pics... which prp's did you go with? I'm thinking about switching out the corbeaus in the CJ for some more daily driver friendly seats. Those elites are pricy though

PRP Enduro elite recliners. I should have gone with the tall backs (6’3”) but for what I’ve got in them I am happy. I’ll have to grab an installed photo tomorrow.

Not my rig but a lady at church asked if I knew a welder who could fix the hinge on her s10. She got two bad ankles and a bad back and been climbing through the passenger side to drive it. Told her I’d see what I could do for her and brought it home today. No pics of the fix because it was ghettoFABulous but I got it pulled back up as tight as it was gonna go and booger welded it back together. Was still a little misaligned due to the jacked up door post, but an aggressive shut will make it latch like it needs to.

Well I sold my rig this week. 12 years ago I started this project with a scout frame and an old cj that had been sitting around my parents house for years. After several revisions and many great memories made with friends and family wheeling all over the east coast, It was time to let it go. It was very bitter sweet. Even made my daughter cry. But now to turn focus on finishing up the new buggy my son and I have been working on.

Hit up Rimer Salvage this weekend and scored a new door panel, over the years all the little retainer clips have busted off, and here recently I managed to shut the door in such a manner the door panel wedged itself on the kicker panel trim and as I went to open the door to get in the truck I ripped the panel apart.
Go me.
Need to pressure wash it and get some new clips, but I lucked out getting such a nice panel that's the same color.
Also replaced some of my burnt out cablights before hitting the gym last night, it really is the little things in life.

Pulled gas tank to install in tank fuel pump. Now I'm buying a new tank. Lol, should have expected this.
