I don't CHOOSE to fly much on my own. Usually it's business trips to see mfg facilities to approve and spec a product....The last vendor trip I took was about a year ago. We flew to Boston and in the airport, we headed down to the car rental row. My guy had a SUV reserved at Avis. It was a new Wagoneer. At the counter the rental dude was hard core PUSHING an EV. Like...he was gonna get a $500 kickback if we chose an EV kinda pushing

my guy declined and we pressed on with the wagoneer. As he was finishing up, I saw a couple come up to the rental dude next to ours. Apparently their reservation at enterprise fell thru and they ONLY had EV's so they came to Avis. Their dude said ALL they had left was EV's. I asked our agent if they had a problem renting EV's and he confirmed that hardly anyone REQUESTS an EV. It's what they get left with after everyone had taken the gas cars.
I thought that was rather interesting
