"Take 92" - YJ Linked with Nines

I must admit this new case is cool but for a company to sell a product with no instructions or any kind of guidance is just dumb.

Took 2 smart guys to put it together and let's just say there was a lot of where does this go, are we sure this is correct, why do we have extra parts? 😀

At this time i would not recommended this case. Time Will tell once we get it out and abuse it.

But it sure looks pretty

Aside from the case being in halves assembly wasn’t the same as a typical 300?
Mostly the same. Having to figure out which plate goes where, do I re use a part or replace with new, does it need gasket maker or wait what are these random gaskets for that don't fit anywhere. And why do I have a bunch of random bolts

Also which seals or bearing do I need as the holes were not the same as stock case.

If the company just had some pics with written info, it would not be that bad but going in blind sucks.

Thanks for elaborating. I was kinda wondering what the issues were. I’ve built a few D300s and never once looked at instructions, but different sized bearings/shims/seals definitely changes things.

Sounds like when I built my Toyota dual cases in 2008, neither inchworm or marlin had any instructions. Just a pile of parts would show up lol

Atlas comes with instructions, and they’re available pdf so you can look into something before you decide to buy it, might not want to do something once you know what’s involved
I ordered an atlas originally but the wait time was terrible. So I cancelled and went this direction

Modified front shaft and found need to rebuild 2 piece bearing.

Filled it with fluid and tested and it shift thru gears which is good
