You probably saw some good examples in "UpnOver"'s build.

I saw one somewhere, don’t remember where, but it was made out of square tubing. I certainly didn’t come up with the idea myself, I’m not creative like that.

Got another set of axles, another transfer case for the doubler set up, a 5 speed trans ( appears to be a w-56, even though the model plate says it’s a g52) a good frame, and a 22r engine. Now to tear this one down to the frame!

Hahahaha! I wish! I’ll prob have this one tore down by then, maybe. It’s starting to look like a Surry co. Junk yard around here...Wendy would definitely be on board with the 12 day turn around!!

I don't know if it would be any help, but I do have a 78 2 wheel drive with a decent body sitting around, it's been off the road since 1990. It was driven and parked where it's sitting now.

Title and keys, will require chainsaw and trailer to get out of the "too good to get rid of pile". Lifting or winching is covered by heavy equipment. Let me know it's in Floyd VA. I can get you pictures if you would like.

Okay I see what you’re doing trying to use a kids volleyball game to get more time to finish up a couple things on the truck.

So I stripped down the 85 to the frame. It’s in pretty good shape. The dimensions are really similar to the 80 model, but a few differences with motor mounts and cab mounts , no big deal. I reorganized my mess....I hate clutter..and moved the cabs down the hill...Wendy is happier too:D. The 85 has a W56a 5 speed that i will use and the transfer case I need for my doubler set up. I have a set of 4.7 gears ordered for my main case. It feels good to take a couple steps forward! I also snapped a pic of the L43 4 speed trans out of the 80 model for @rcalexander105 ...its definitely a different! Now it’s time to throw my feet up!

Nice work man! You've accomplished a lot more than myself today... these kids of mine are about to drive me to drink (even more).

You going duals with a 4.7 in the rear case?

Yessir! I like the option of a 2.28 or 4.7 low range! Very unlikely both case in low would be beneficial, but still an option.

I've gone back and forth on that in my head for a while. For now, just going to stick with the single 4.7. Hopefully one day I'll make up the difference with the 3RZ swap I really want to do.
