Charlotte meet/greet (1st & 3rd Fridays)

my bad, school and work have fried my brain to the point that i can't figure out what the first and third friday of the month means. second the reason its twice a month is so its flexible for people. if your not into twice a month you can just pick one friday, or if a certain fridays not good for you no biggie. also the sun sets at 5:30ish. i wish we could do a time in the daylight but its not really possible. so if we were ever to change the location i think lighting would be the biggest factor. something that just came to mind is the big homedepot/target parking deck down town. central, well-lit, easy to find, big and free. if that sounds good i can call them and see what their policies are. and last i won't have the jeepout but i would def like to meet this friday. maybe at 7:15 we can head out to us subs or ham's, get there as early as you like.
and remember ive spent a lot of time and money to put these meets together, try to keep circle jerking fantasies to yourself.

Dude IDK what your talking about but its sounds like everyone else is meeting up tommorow at 7 at the usual place


I just need directions to said usual place coming from 485 if someone doesn't mind and I'll come hang out some too :driver:
 
ok, so get off 485 at 49 which i believe is the "harrisburg exit" then go tward the city/ away from uwharrie, the wendys should be on your right. in about half a mile you will have hit your third light (the Circle-K) and your there just turn right at that light and you will see jeeps.

Just a side note, there is also a Harrisburg Rd. exi on 485 seperate from the Harrisburg exit. The Harrisburg Rd. exit is 39, and the Harrisburg exit (the one you want) is 33. Just dont want ya to get lost.
 
Any way I can get the address for the place? I have no clue about Charlotte. I'm in Gastonia and would really like to come in 2 weeks and meet some friends to talk wheelin'.
 
We had about 8 people show up.
It was cool to put some names with some faces.
I knew Ricky beforehand and thats about it.
The location is just across the Gas Station where Mallard Creek church road now called John something intersects with HWY 49.
on the map it would be the left corner of that intersection near the first turn for North Loop road.

I will not be there tomorrow, unless Im itching to drive the truck again. But its gonna be cold and I'm sure my son will get tired of watching us talk.

Yeah the road is called John Kirk. I wont be there either....got some plans already.. Plus no top on the rig=too cold.
 
man im gonna have to start goin to these meetings..... i basically live in sanford on the weekends....i have alot of friends in uncc.... never knew there were alot of people around that were into wheelin
 
hey guy in new to the forums and i will be trying to make it to one of these meets, unless i get a transfer case ill be drivin my honda (pls dont hate haha its not all riced out lol), but ima try to make it out there soon

Im not going to be able to promote this thing this semester if someone else wants to get it going again and do the passing out fliers and internet thing its all yours. i would still enjoy meeting some more of the charlotte 4x4 and jeep guys and gals, some of my best friends are with people i met at the meet and greet. So its up to who ever wants the job.

Theres a thread going on in the upcoming events forum about a new place to wheel in the charlotte area if any guys in the area want to help us scout trails/check out the place. I think with a little work, this could be an awesome place we can all wheel locally.
