OK guys, several times here you have invited this douche to the flats, for the next invite. The invite that is really big on attendance.
Now, we all know how congested the trails get with folks just normally hitting the good stuff, so, Is this a Jeep you REALLY desire to see out there? WE have helped in the past, but we do not officially provide extraction services. So, Who is going to drag this Jeep off the trail? It won't be me. Think about what you are saying,....please.
I am wondering what part of this build is Aaron doing? Yes he's a friend who I used to ride with when he was in one of the clubs I am in. Putting the doubler together? Yeah I can see that. doublers are bad ass, I ran one for a couple years, I have no problems with that. But anyone on here can tell you, my driving style has for many years to "creep" up stuff. So if you think gears are the end all do all, then stick to your belief. It works on some stuff, but, not on all.
If you do happen to come to The Flats, let me recommend a course for you. Start in the parking lot, go out toward the playground, turn left, just past big gulley's, there is some rocks on the right, go up those rocks, this will put you in the playground. From there, take the trail to the left of the big hill, it goes up the a sharp right, keep going up till you come to an opening. Bear to the left, that will bring you to the upper Flats. Look to the right, there will be some hill climbs over there, just to the left of the "jump" there is a wall. You can make that, I saw a friend do it in an XJ on 31's. After you are at the top of that. go straight. At the bottom of the hill turn left, and then take the first right, then the first right, this will bring you out at a small log bridge. Take a hard left(don't go across the bridge) and you are at the bottom of easy street. Go up Easy st till it forks, take the right fork, the left is only for those on small tires. Once back up on trail one, take a left, loop up and around to the second left, that is old stumpy, turn in there, and once at the top, turn right. The first left is No way, and the second left has yet to be named, either one of those will bring you out to where you need to take a left, follow that road to the end. If you have made it that far, let me know.
