I've got about 40ft of it, 10" diameter or so, sitting behind my house. Came down in the snowstorm last winter. Free for the taking if anyone on here wants it. Otherwise it will eventually be converted into shop woodstove feed.
 
That wood looks like the wood in some trees on the wife's property I'm clearing. Are there any easy signs that it's Black cherry?

The bark is pretty distinctive and easy to spot. The ones around here all seem to be in the woods, so they are fairly tall and have almost no lower limbs. If it's out in the open it could look very different. The bark is kinda silvery and smooth on younger trees.

This vid shows bark pretty good. Didn't show much on leaves, but they're oblong with fine sawtooth edges.

Really? I thought those were $1000-1500 trucks in that condition since the market is starting to shift towards Superduty axles.

The first line is what I don’t get? If you have a rust free fj40 in great condition what the hell do you need him for?
