And another funny one.....

Wrecked teenage daughter special

"
So my 16 year old daughter was convinced that the old man didn't know what he was talking about when he warned her about distracted driving. Her skepticism led to the modifications that you see in the picture. It turns out that trying to pick up food from the floor of your newly purchased used Jeep Cherokee while driving way to fast on a dirt road can indeed lead to a sudden unexpected interaction with a tree. The tree won.

The tires, wheels and battery are good. I know the radiator and airbags are toast but the rest is good for parts and possibly good for repair by someone that knows what to do and has the time. Make me an offer and come get it. I need to get it off my property. If you're looking for other junk and parts vehicles I also have a of others that you can look at while you are here."

Dang, looks like she never even hit the brakes!

Ugh. Thats not a Cherokee!!!

I saw a group of 6x6's at URE once ..... those things rode worse than a lowered Mitsubishi mini-truck.

Matt

That's what I'm talkin' 'bout...
6x6 atv

Saw a dude in an amphibious one in the middle of Harris lake a few months ago, apparently going fishin. From a distance it looked like a small boat that was sinking and I headed towards it to see if he needed help. It was going about 3 mph chugging along w about a foot out of the water. As I passed by it I wondered how it would take the waves the wake boats make? I hope it has a good bilge pump.

And the mini truck would be more reliable.
Down inside those traps are more chains then Mr. T owns. None of them gold or worth scrap either.

If I had the money/time I would buy that, and leave it AS-IS with the exception of putting it on tons, stickies and polished racelines with an LS

Hidden front winch, spare laying down in the back, and keep the original bumpers, spare, even plates, and wheel conservatively, but still do the fun stuff.

Exactly.

But isn't that statement an oxymoron?

It IS if you own a Toyota. Apparently you can't wheel ANY sort of Toyota without body damage. But, since I own a Jeep, I've been quite successful wheeling some seriously fun stuff without any damage (so far)

Not CL (and not sure it's on FB Marketplace or not) but this popped up on my feed today. Listed in the "Toyota Pickup and 4runner Parts For Sale" page.

That's just b/c most Toy owners know the body is going to rust away anyway, so there's no point in trying to save it.

1985 Dodge Ramcharger

Let me start off the ad by saying this Ramcharger is by far the cleanest original in NC and maybe even the East Coast, it is a 1985 Dodge Ramcharger Prospector 2WD, it has 89,000 ORIGINAL miles. I love this thing to death but I've been tossing the idea around of getting something newer. I DO NOT have to sell it, so I'm not going to give it away.

Drivetrain- the factory 318 has been bored out to a 343, it has Edelbrock Aluminum RPM heads, long tube headers, Edelbrock air gap intake, Edelbrock 650 CFM carb, with a 727 Torqueflite, it has fresh fluids all within the past week, new trans pan gasket, fresh oil and oil filter, and other small things.

Exterior-original paint with only a few blemishes here and there from being a 33 year old truck, only issue is it's missing the trim piece from the back of the drivers door to the wheel well, every thing else is in great condition. This truck is RUST FREE.

Wheels and Tires-factory 15x7 Turbine wheels with new BFGoodrich KO2's with about 1,000 Miles on them.

I recently drove this thing from San Antonio, TX to Hampstead NC, it gets about 15 mpg highway and about 10 mpg in town, which is pretty good considering all of the motor work, there's more I'm sure I'm forgetting but if you have any questions feel free to ask.

$7500 OBO

This guy is in my neighborhood. I couldn't believe how clean and nice it looks other than the missing piece of trim. Motor sounds great too, just a shame that it's 2wd
