The real secret is to have SO MANY old trucks, parts, tools, guns, etc, that you can bring in another one, and she'll never notice it. After 8-10 of any one item, she'll get less and less mad each time. Then one day you'll realize not a word was said, because "one more" wont substantially add anything.

Kind of like, where do you hide a tree? ...in the forest.

Glad I dont have you guys for mates. Husband and I both work on Jeeps etc. If he brings home flowers an jewelry he gets buried with the "shiny stuff" and the flowers go up his ars. We do have wtf gifts but nothing set in stone. Gifts of tools ,interior bits, built motors are more in tune with us.
