Ripped out all the old gross carpet and sound deafening stuff and patched the floorboard rust. 7 patch plates in total from front to back.

I have some axle end UCA bushings on the way as well as new UCAs, track bar and bracket, steering box brace, and rear shackle relocators - will be some good work coming up

Sprayed some aerosol bedliner on it. It’s not nice enough to justify any other finish really lol.

Got the MORE steering box brace installed this afternoon. @NickMaul i was doing some flex testing in the yard with this angle and it’s really not different than before, still twists pretty good. I may or may not change it.

Roger that. Fortunately it looks like your springs are pretty flat at ride height. You’ll be wanting more shackle angle if you get newer springs with more arch in them. Usually a touch more shackle angle will net you some improved ride quality but this is a Cherokee after all!

@NickMaul got the shackles moved forward 1 hole and flipped 180 so it tucks into the bracket better

The old halogen bulbs pulled a lot of wattage for the old headlight circuit, and made the switch get hot over time via resistance. I had some LED light pods in storage I bought some time ago and had forgotten about, then decided to throw em on in place of the old headlights. Admittedly it looks a little different; it’s growing on me. But damn it sure does make for good headlights.

Made some aluminum plates to fill the gap and give it more of a pseudo square headlight look

Correctamundo. I like to think of it more as On/Off.

Put a new locker in the front today; my lock right had sloppy teeth so I put a Spartan in.

Also did 4340 Yukon shafts with Spicer 760X joints.

Then I went four wheeling!

Got the 3 link in today. May add the 4th link but I think it will bind less without it. Road manners would probably be a little better with a 4th link but thats long forgotten at this point.

I would really consider changing that upper link bolt at the axle. I believe Currie sells a cartridge joint that drops into the casting. I believe they also offer a larger bolt diameter which you should be looking to upgrade.

That small fastener breaks and all hell is going to break loose on your front end. Maybe utilize that 4th link until you have the means to upgrade the upper axle link bushing.

If a 1/2” grade 9 bolt shits the bed in the immediate future, he was doing something way more than should have been happening in a shitmissile XJ powered by blue cans. In that case I’m pretty sure he knows what he’s got coming, will drag it home, booger it back together and repeat the process.

Sick rock missile @336wheeler.

Well after blowing out the glass a few nights ago it really took a hard turn down Shitmissile Road
