Honesty idk why anyone trys to talk to fuller. Doesn't matter what advise you give him, how you say it nice or not. Or give him solid advise he won't listen. I hate to say it but until he has a major failure of some kind he won't change or try to listen and understand what others are saying. I honestly hope I'm not there the day that this happens because I think it will take a major under taking to get him out. I just hope he doesn't have a bad roll over.

I do my best to avoid as much "off camber" stuff as possible (kinda why I haven't rolled in 15yrs since that drunk driving mishap) cause I've never been fond of seeing roll overs so I've have tried my hardest to avoid them but now that I'm getting into little more crazier wheeling (for me at least), seems time to have some swort of extra support/backup/cage/protection for added security.

Howd you guess lol. Yep I'm currently working on designing my own doubler setup as soon as i find a way to make the shafts and mate them together....I'm saving that for when it's actually done and then I will post up the details and specs....bet ya can't wait for that "homemade project" but it will be done and it will work...I'm very determined and been drawing this out and researching this a lot and am very close to having it complete

All bs aside, I like it better without all this shit and mis-information in the public eye.
It concerns me that a newb somewhere is reading this, seeing the pics and thinking that the JF way is even remotely close to acceptable.
A 110v welder with .035 wire can't weld 1/2 single pass.
JF, pm me your address, I will send you some plates to weld up, and a return label and instructions.
Weld them up and send them back to me.
It's time to put up or shut up.
I'll properly cut the plates and test them destructively.

fine but you gotta wait till i burn up this big role of .30 i just put in week ago cause i ain't cutting it to waste that wire but when i run out i will buy one small roll of .35 and be happy to weld your little 1/2"plates. I'm not sure what kind of testing you do (i think i remember you have machinery that does it) but I'm sure you will find a way to make a fool out of me but I can only speak for myself and several customers who have been very happy and successful with my work..including welding. Having this said, remember too welding a 1/2"plate for trailer hitch doesn't say much since trailer hitch doesn't have nothing of load on it compared to say a roll over down some crazy trail so i never claimed to weld thick steel for roll over crazy stuff but i merely stating that it's very doable with single pass too to hold up for your average DD, trailer hitch, some bracketry for normal use. any other uses than this and no, i take my stuff to a shop with 220 for peace of mind.

No, that was due to previous poor design before I was involved. I fixed that problem and we ran with no problems for 2 seasons. Duct tape and bubble gum were not used in that particular instance.
My fu%$ing shoulders and neck were sore for a week!

to correct you sir...everyone told me my D30 wouldn't last at the Flats very long...they were right about that one thing and i listened and bought "what most have told me" little better axles with better gearing so i did listen to that...plus it got really old very quick breaking 2 axles per ride on average (dam Ol Stumpy going down on the next trip)
