man you should of called me!!
Just back up and slam on teh brakes real hard. Should pop right out of there.

It's been rebuild already, has a new heavy duty 12" clutch, pressure plate and a PTO setup on the side. Joe explained what a PTO was since I really didn't know. Either way, it is pretty cool but it's definitely coming off. Anyone need one? I'll make a plate out of aluminum or something to cover up the hole that the PTO was mounted to. My plan is to mate this transmission to the 5.3L engine using a longer pilot bearing, longer flywheel bolts and a 6.0L truck flywheel. Then I'll mate the transmission to an early bronco dana 18 or an np231 or something like that.
It was cool coming over a seeing the mini fab shop! Not to mention your spotless yj! I can't wait till you get the mean trans and motor in the dj! That jeep is going to be shout!

I can't wait to get the motor and transmission in too. I've still got a long way to go on this thing but I'm feeling really good about what is left. I'm marking off more and more on the to-do list. I'm taking it one step at a time.
it's heavy and damn near bullet proof.i have that same vise on a welding table i built for my senior project its damnn heavy
heck yeah! you can bring it by whenever it's convenient for you in the new few days or week. i appreciate you letting me borrow the hoist again.Let me know when you need to hoist. I will drag it up there. Might even let you see the baby,.
This is so sick! I need to get photoshop so i can try out new ideas...
I'll get started on some sheet metal work soon. That is a Chevy V8 you won't be pushing on it that hard. The brakes on the other hand....

I will be through Charlotte a couple of times this week. Iwill TRY to remember to bring the hoist by.
