Well jeep did awesome its first trial run!! Bent tie rod, loose heim bolts and a misfire otherwise all went extremely well.
Btw, if you saw the boulder I hit and was dragging/plowing with my tie rod, it held up quite well all things considering.
Now onto getting this jeep safe!!!
Started on rocker panels today and here's what I got done so far...2.5"x2.5"x3/16" welded in on rockers. The A pillar is cut into and scribed in a piece there also...all I got so far but I'm really happy with progress and how good/clean it looks. The middle pillar will be same as front and more than likely.....entire roll cage will be same material unless I get lucky finding tubing. Can't wait to get center pillar done...hope it looks as good as front!

Thanks bud, I'm actually trying to make it look good even with scrap metal lol, using all my tools and skills put to work!!

Dang I already fixed it and beefed it up...someone I remember took a pic of it out there when bent lol
 
Well today I scored 5 of these bad boys from work cause they got bent wrong doo...3/16 plate made some hefty beefy flat bottom rock sliders...probably little too heavy but at least I know it will handle anything and everything lol.
Also scored 2 pieces of 4x3.5x3/16 plate that had 90bend in them so entire frame got plated then added sliders.
Got one side done tonight mostly...not too shabby!!

What I love is how they were bent in the perfect direction almost so got extra lucky
 
Well it's time to build my dream rig drivetrain fellas. Feeling SOO awesomely blessed right now.

It appears I have a D60 and D70...cause rear is 32spline. 41 10 on ring gear = 4:10ratio?
 
I just know the rear is huge and freaking heavy to pick up.. daiiiuumm
 
I was able to maneuver around my current 60rear pretty easy but this rear pig I struggled to lift one side up on to jack stands so that's what gave it away besides pumpkin being enormous
 
Boy if y'all seen the welds on this rear..OMG

32 spline shafts on the 70? What is the OD? Curious how it compares to my 30 spline 60 and a 14b shaft.

Axle shaft appears to be 1 3/8 , axle tube 3.5

32 isn't a huge upgrade over a 30 in itself but the future 35 is.

When u change axle splines the gears/carrier has to change too?
 
And are these axles cast housing?
