Job Hook Ups

Really not following your thoughts, but 1 driver shit talked himself out of a job, & another returned to a better benefit, with a former employer. I been with Casey for over 10 years. Seven as full time, & then dropped to part time. One of the best places I ever worked!
He's referring to the Grateful Dead song. Casey Jones maybe?

I didn't catch that; sorry! There were two Casey Jones stories. One of the Train wreck, the other about a baseball player. Haven't heard the Greatful Dead song, in years! ;)

Carotek in Matthews is looking for a mechanical designer/project manager. Job description in the link below. If anyone is interested let me know as I get a referral and I will put a good word in for you.

Controller role…let me know if you or someone you know may be interested. Directly reports to me. Actively recruiting, hoping to have it filled in the next 2-3 weeks.

Anyone in Raleigh area looking for some part time help? I'm off on Thursdays and can only watch so much TV.

20 years in automotive, mostly service advisor but spent time in parts. Actively working in automotive so have to be mindful of conflict of interest if in automotive.

Can you say what dealership? My mother still lives in Raleigh and needs her vehicle serviced from time to time. I hate when she goes to a rip off place that tells her she needs all this work done, when she doesn't. Just techs trying to rip an old lady off.

AAA off Glenwood Avenue. After other places I have worked, it's been a breath of fresh air to actually recommend what the customer needs, and not all the other stuff. We can do it, but it's not pushed.

If she needs anything, have her call or swing by, my name is Cameron and always happy to help!

anyone looking for a mechanic/fabrication job near Spartanburg SC?
a friend has been trying to find an employee for some time to help in his shop so, i thought i might post here for him.

in Stan's own words,
My shop builds custom Land Cruisers and I am looking to branch out to other makes and models as well. I do drive line swaps using GM LS engines, frame swaps, suspension rebuilds, electrical rebuild and full builds. The shop is in Chesnee, about 11 miles North of Spartanburg SC, in the country. Close to Greenville, SC, Asheville, NC and Charlotte, NC.

Surely there is someone out there that can hold there own in a shop like mine.

Wanted, one first rate second banana. Truly a write your own ticket kind of opportunity.

If you can not handle full time, have more drama in your life than most, walk on by.

Best way to contact me is Email HFS4x4@yahoo.com

Sandvik Coromant has two open positions on my team - Application Specialist and Account Manager. Ideally, both candidates would reside in the eastern half of NC, but that’s not a strict requirement. Location is a bit more critical for the AM role. For reference, the RDU area is pretty central in that sales territory.

Essentially, the AM is responsible for developing and maintaining customer relationships and doing the sales side of things while the Apps Specialist is responsible to developing and testing technical solutions.

If you know of anyone with a machining/manufacturing/engineering background that might be interested, they can apply via the links below. I’d be glad to chat with anyone who would like to learn more.

Do they have to work with you? If so, whats the hazard pay differential? :flipoff2:

Hey, you still had all your fingers and toes last time I saw you! The hazard pay differential therefore is a negative number.

But to your point, the AM candidate will be taking over a number of my accounts and will probably have to put up with me for a short period of time during the transition. I’d call it a perk :flipoff2:

Any of those accounts my former employer? If so I might be interested. I know how much money they throw away!

I need to talk with you over beer. I've always been interested in that side of the field.

Knowing you a little bit, and knowing the field, I think you would be great at it.

Company I work for, Casey Jones Trucking, is seeking a Dump truck driver, again. One driver that had a long commute, found something closer to his home. May have another driver, moving to the Beach, but undecided as of now. We are headquartered in the Lucia area, Gaston Co. NC. Cox Lake road, off Lucia-Riverbend road. Minimum CDL Class B license. 704-400-6696. Text is the best way to make contact. Attached pic, is the Spare truck, which I normally drive on a part time basis.

My company is looking for a new engineering technician. Job responsibilities include machine troubleshooting, design, and light fabrication (drill press, plasma cutter, mig welding, LIGHT-duty mill work).

Most machine builds are majority 80/20 (extruded aluminum erector set for adults).

Pay and benefits are good, it is technically an hourly position, but that is in flux with HR. We work 8am-4pm with a fairly flexible work schedule out of Butner NC.

I think the pay starts at $35/hr. The company is actively working to make sure their pay scale is very competitive in the industry, obviously your own skills will dictate if that number goes up or down.

Drop me a PM if you are interested, and I can answer specific questions.

Not for me but for my wife. She is currently a Certified Dental Assistant II and is looking to make a switch to working up front at a Dental Office. Looking for something around the Greensboro/High Point area. She has 13 years experience.

Started a new gig a couple weeks ago, consolidating and integrating several businesses. So I’m revamping job descriptions but I’m actively searching for the following:

- 6 heads for ‘construction type’ experience. ‘Rough Framer’ would be closest description. $15-25/hr DoE. M-Th 7a-4p, Friday 7a-noon-ish. Semi-indoor operation. Located in Lexington.

- 4 retail sales managers. $50k base salary, plus upward of $100k commission, depending on gross revenue generation. Within 60mile radius of Lexington. 10a-6p, option of 5 or 6 days/wk.

- 2 ‘Roving’ sales managers. $50k base salary, plus upward of $100k commission, depending on gross revenue generation. Plus travel compensation. Within 60mile radius of Lexington. Covers retail locations for absent site managers.

- 3 Drivers/Haulers. $20-30/hr DoE. CDL not required. Max trip 180miles one way. 80% of travel will be within a 100mile radius of Lexington. Must be able to set up/install yard sheds.

Honestly, benefit package isn’t very good as of today, but I’m revamping to be a true benefit, effective 7/1. Benefit eligibility the first of a month after 30 days.

No, she isn't currently with Aspen if that's what your asking. Its crazy though. She had an opportunity with a practice that is pretty well known in this area to be one of the best, but they wouldn't even talk to her about a position as long as she was employed where she currently is. They basically told her that she would need to quit and then, they would "talk"
