High school students in Elizabeth City and Elon are under scrutiny after being found with guns on school property.

Back in the day we brought guns to school. We parked in the school parking lots and left them in the truck back glass gun rack so we could go hunting after school AND NOBODY GOT SHOT !!!!

I carried a Swiss Army knife almost every day.
I remember one day, maybe I was a Junior?, I realized I didn't have it in my pocket. One of my teachers pulled me aside in the hallway and said, Hey swing by after school. Mortified and curious, went by when nobody was around. He said... you left something behind on your way out. Handed me the knife. "I'd suggest you be a little more careful in the future. See you tomorrow."
