Lots of interesting news today

The legal entry requirements are pretty lax, unfortunately.

But you know good and well that we are not talking about the few 'legal' interactions, even though that system is broken too. Broken on purpose.

But they don't have to have a 'job' lined up or really prove any type of self support. That is why 'you' are building these shelters for thousands of kids and 'you' are feeding them daily and providing medical care.

too bad that system is being purposefully overloaded and tractor trailer loads of illegals are crossing daily with no record.

No job requirements and no proof of support or proof that they'll make the USA better.

Could just be waved through too. Or claim asylum never to be seen again.

Pretty lax, especially for a country that can't balance a budget, take care of veterans, provide proper mental health, control mass shootings, or tamp down inflation

Fail.
What are the documents that are requirement for admission? Link please.
I'll give you a hint - one of them begins with the letter V. There's a waiver process too.
Glimpse ahead - I'm also going to ask what the requirements are for that or a waiver.

Wut?

Just get across the border and into the guts of the US. trailer, tunnel, 17 in a Ford Taurus. Get out and run. You are good. Drop that anchor baby and you're staying. Gross. Just because there is a policy and procedure in place doesn't mean all are following it.

We won't stop and look for illegals cause racism

You can't ask about 'status' cause racism

CNN explicitly, purposefully won't say 'illegal' or 'undocumented'. They lump all 'immigrants' together so anyone who speaks out against ILLEGAL immigration is racist.

NC Sheriffs won't even cooperate with ICE, even after 1 of thier own is killed by an illegal. How frustrating that must be for the boots on the ground.

3 North Carolina hard working tax payers have been killed by an illegal alien just these past 12 months No visas in sight. But I thought that was the policy?

The gov't has it handled! Keep looking to them and their procedures for answers.

You have been sufficiently radicalized.

Even the most aggressive estimates put illegal immigration at around 30% of legal...
There aint this brown wave you fear. Again I say - get out of NC and go spend some time near the border. You are arguing for the implementation of things that already exist.

Could they be better? Sure.

So are you going to answer the question or not? You keep changing topics.

Radicalized? Hardly.
The former Wake Sherriff actively spoke out against working with ICE. He thought that would get him votes. (not make Wake county a better, safer, cleaner place like the job description implies) So not only did he not work to make his area safer and less lawless, he lost. He maybe even got a sheriff killed.
Its not about being 'better' He was actively going against the wishes of the public. He isn't/wasn't the only one. Why did he do that? Who was telling him to do that? Who was promising campaign donations to not be cooperative?
Or is my tinfoil too tight?

I'm not supposed to notice? Its in my backyard...why do I need to travel to the border?

I don't fear a 'brown' wave....why do you assume some 'racist' thing?
I fear more crime, lower property values, more dangerous roads, a less pleasant neighborhood, and just an overall dragging it all down to the lowest common denominator....as is happening.
You make me less safe, get in my way, are bothersome, are trashy, lower my property values.....I notice. Sorry.

Even Slick Willy knew what was up and spoke out against it.

you missed my point.
The vast majority of the people doing the things you describe are entering legally. Even the (vast) majority of illegals enter legally.

Because....
of statements like this:

which we have shown repeatedly is not from the sources you attribute it to.
@Ron hit it on the head.

Still waiting for you to answer the question of what's required to get here legally.

Man I don't know you or anything about you. But you got it out for Hispanic people.
I'd say most come with no job lined up just a friend or family member to stay with and some how they get a job. Most Hispanic people don't go get government help and won't go to the hospital because they think they will be deported.
Hispanic people do the lions share of building and ag in NC and most Southern states. These people work harder than most people I know.
Get to know some of them before you say the stupid stuff your saying, they just people to trying to do better for themselves. Which is more than I can say for a whole hell of alot of natural born Americans

Yipeeee - more government telling us how we should run our lives!

From a more recent article also that some might hit a paywall on
House Bill 20, first introduced in January, passed the House of Representatives with 112 yes votes and 5 no votes on May 3 and is now in a Senate committee.

The bill requires cash to be accepted for sales, prohibits an extra charge for customers paying in cash and allows businesses to not accept bills of $50 or larger.

I wonder how many are redundancies or bloat.
He said, the bloat/redundancies were gone the last go-around and they have been on a skeleton crew all through Covid. The only saving grace to Covid for them was the ability to work from home, and that is gone now. He hates his job now and is counting days until he can retire.

I'm not talking about or worried about a slow, metered trickle of immigrants that are needed for a specific purpose that no American can do. That process works when its done properly.

You type things as if you know what I see, what I've seen, and what I experience.
Source of what? Source of the illegals that have killed people that could have easily been you or your mom or dad? The roads I travel every single day are less safe now....what is the source of that? Or is that too self centered and selfish?

I don't care how hard you work or what you build. If you don't contribute to a better society and neighborhood then I'm not a fan.

Nobody particularly cares what you see or experience.
Because that doesn't match or equate to all of the rest of us.
The world is bigger than you and your experience.

So are you going to answer the question? What is required for legal admittance to the US?

Living beside annoying barking dogs is maddening.

But did they actively poison the dogs or did the dogs eat tainted squirrels?
Who cares, poisoning the squirrels should also by cruelty to animals. It is a horrible way to kill something.

Pretty sure based on the statements they made about killing their dogs, they probably did actually kill them.

I also agree with this. I hate those little devil rodents but antifreeze poisoning is horrible.

But the residents of Chicago are concerned that bussing in migrants there will adversely affect Black neighborhoods. So yeah. Even the people who society has marginialized the most are concerned about the potential rise in crime. If @benXJ is racist, then pretty much the rest of the world is too because nobody wants crime to increase.

You have been sufficiently radicalized.

Even the most aggressive estimates put illegal immigration at around 30% of legal...

Guys, I'm actually going step a bit towards @benXJ on this. Yes, he has bought into the hype about the massive illegal immigration waves where Fox and some others keep rolling the same footage over and over again of illegal immigrants crossing or swarming at areas. But I find the 30% statistic up above to be a bit misrepresented.

First, any estimate on the number of illegal immigrants would be far off due to not having anything that resembles accurate or comprehensive data or even agreeing on terms and definitions.

Second, I have had recent experience with how the unaccompanied minor path works and met multiple non-documented immigrants here in NC as well as those who arrived as non-documented but later managed to get through the process. It is not as clean cut as @RatLabGuy is trying to argue. Hell, I am even in violation of the actual wording of the policies. My ex flew over from Germany without a fiance visa. She intended to take back to back trips to the U.S. in the fall and winter of 2001. Then we were going to get married the next summer. Sept. 11th changed all that and we ended up just doing a justice of the peace ceremony because they froze the visa process.

In the interest of brevetty I won't go into detail on how undocumented immigrating minors were being systematically transported to places across the US. If you all want me to explain how easy, stable, and standardized it was last year to get a dependent minor from Honduras to North Carolina, let me know.

Here's the thing. If it were just "radicalization" then only one side would see it that way. Which up until a couple months ago was the case. Republicans have been screaming from the rooftops that the border was not secure and that people were streaming across the border like moths to flame. Democrats said, "No... we good". Mayorkas has been chirping "All is well" until someone finally called him to the carpet and now all the sudden there "has been chaos at the border for many years". Administration goes from, "How dare Border Patrol attack and whip immigrants (only months later admitting that didn't actually happen)" to "Oh crap.... get 1500 troops to the border NOW!"

My ex-wife and her entire family emigrated from Russia in the late 70's. They were some of the hardest working people I've ever met. They came over via Italy because they were in fear for their lives for leaving Moscow. It was a long process, but they crossed every t and dotted every i and finally became naturalized citizens. I remember them being pissed about illegal immigrants back then because they were after the same thing but not willing to put in the work. Were they radicalized?
