Scott Fields is putting a lot of work into getting this running, hopefully everyone will come out and have a good time. There will be vendors, parts swap, product demos, and much more.
Spartan Races are a type of foot races, 5ks or so, that incorporate mud holes, river crossings, rock climbing, obstacles, etc. Kind of a military obstacle course race as I understand it. I'll be watching
Ohh this sounds like it is going to be a blast!! Spartan races are similar to mud runs, and I did enough of those while in the Marines. You can def count me and the fam in for this!
We'll be there! Just confirmed with Scott! Now....Belinda and I will be at the Double Parking lot and two great people will be serving you at the show!
We will have a big group from the Carolina Jeepsters up that weekend camping in Arrowhead. Really looking forward to this. Hope to see alot of you guys up there.
Whats the prize for winning the sasquatch scramble, always thought it would be fun to compete in something like that, but I'd want something to entice me to do so, lol.
Looks like there will be a nice turn out from dealers/vendors across the area.
Here are just a couple to get an idea:
Bass Pro Shops, which is also an Artic cat Dealer:
Bobcat dealer RS Braswell will have an UTV and T-190:
Midstate Toyota Dealership:
John Deere Dealer/UTV-ATV/Equipment:
World Class Powersports which is also a Polaris Dealer:
Beyond that Scott is also working on getting a prize together for the Trail Volunteering efforts out at Uwharrie. Basic concept being the volunteer that logs the most hours/days this year will win a prize.
Put on top of that the swap meet, food, drinks, etc and this event will be a blast.
Thanks to Shawn for updating the original post with the updated trail open time. Instead of NOON the trails will be open 2 hours earlier at 10AM. Also for more information click on the flyer in the original post, it is linked to the website.
(Some pages still under construction, I update it daily)
Keep in mind there are still Club Booths available (thanks to CTB, TTJ, and Zuwharrie for signing up so far) and Swap Meet Vendor Booths. The swap meet will be a great place to sell parts etc and make a little extra cash for the new wheeling season.
Scott has also mentioned he is making progress on getting some prizes together etc.
I've committed myself to this weekend for your event. So, ECORS will be there with a booth. I hope to have the TV and video up and going for promotional support, etc.
Either way, I'll be there at least with an ECORS shirt on handing out flyers.
Awesome! So glad all of ya'll are coming! This Show (Jamboree) is turning out to be really BIG!
Thanks so much for all your support!
We have appox. 26 acres directly across the street from the Eldorado Outpost to use as well as a couple of acres in front of the Outpost. We are saving the usual trailer parking for... well ...the usual trailer parking!!
Just signed on http://www.NCAutoInc.com
Super excited about them coming. Great people and a great used Jeep dealer - check them out! They are becoming our Main Sponsor!
Looks like we will even have Army recruiters there with some Humvees on display too!
The website has been completely re-designed to keep up with the size of this event (which keeps growing). If you haven't checked out the website, or haven't seen seen the new updates check it out here:
