NC Bro-lite build

Started tear down for primer and paint. It just didn't seam right to hide all this pretty cage work with black paint...so I went with white. I'm keeping the frame black.

I found some scrap hardware cloth and attached it behind the grill. This might help keep some mud out of the radiator.

Reinstalled the fuel cell and battery. The back end is pretty much complete once the rear shocks are back in place. Looks like I gotta little over spray there on the bumper.

Got everything back together and have most of the painting complete. I went with matte black on all interior panels, inner fenders and the back of the cab. I plan to paint the entire cab matte black and maybe do the hood, fenders, doors and outer beds sides in the viper orange.

I bought a few pieces of pipe insulation and created some cheap roll bar padding. I used the 5 inch wide Gorrilla tape to wrap it lengthwise, and a few zip ties to hold it still. Its cheap and effective and doesn't look half bad.

Front end all back together. Added a little hardware cloth inside the headlight holes.

I cut all the webbing out of the hood. Its basically just a floppy piece of sheet metal. Which means it's gonna rattle like hell. The front tip of the hood taps on the upper part of the grill enough to drive ya crazy. I figured out a cheap ghetto fix for that too.

Introducing the bro-guard. Its s piece pipe insulation. ..keeps the hood as quite as a mouse, yet looks like a really cool, low profile bug guard.;)

Need to connect those bumper ends to something. You're gonna get hung up with another truck and then you're pretty much out of the race. Just run a piece of tube from the end back to the frame.

And yes...I'm on the hunt.

I clicked on this thinking that there were going to be videos of you cutting cookies in the ice.

Oh how I wish. Something tells me that it's a good thing that it's not ready yet. I doubt it'll go very well in this mess. But I bet it'd be a good cookie maker in a parking lot.
