Shot this one Saturday morning stalking turkeys. Sorry for the weird pic, the forum doesn't support my camera anymore so I have to screenshot the picture to get the resolution low enough to post.

Got my first muzzleloader buck tonight! 7 points, 12" spread and 170#....shot him at 85 yards and he only made it 50 yards before crashing.

I’d like y’all to meet Franklin by button buck friend who shows up religiously twice a day and comes in at a full run everyday. I watched him get beat up yesterday morning by a “tag burner” buck that had one 3/4” spike.
Those regular deer are only good for blowing your cover if something good walks up.

Got settled into my stand this morning only to see a coyote eating an entire deer. The rest of its legs and body were scattered around. Shot the coyote. Hunt was ruined.

That I'd be hard pressed to think that a single coyote ran down and killed a grown deer. I'd bet my bottom dollar this is a deer from the trespassers thread that happened to die on your land.

I’m sure he wasn’t alone. I imagine he had help in some form. Deer was sick or injured more than likely. Either way, mr. coyote had a feast. There was what you see in the pic along with four legs picked to the bone. Not an ounce of anything left.

Yotes will often hunt in packs and chase deer down. With a pack they can chase the deer until it can't run anymore. When one yote gets tired they can slow down to rest while others race after the deer taking turns keeping the deer running till they take it down. If a yote bites the deer and it bleeds they can follow it's trail easily and the deer is about doomed to be caught. Buzzards find the kill quick too.

Well shot one tonight… but it was high and back. Went 25 yards and backed out.

Shot him for 30 and he was 25-26 yards
Man what bow are you shooting that 4-5yds makes that kind of difference? I used the same pin for 20 and 30. I had two up there but they were so close I couldn't hardly see around them.
