Took less than 30 minutes to put the first bird on the ground
When I read your posts, I read them in chet from meateaters voice. You look like I imagine he does and he sounds like you do in my mind.

Do not ruin this if we ever meet irl

I know d'Lane's sweet heart, did she feel bad about the fish? Nice catches though!
No she didn't, she did react with little girl screams to the "blood bath", we had 4 hit at the same time, all were gaffed so it was kinda bloody until the last one was in the box., plus one went up into the cabin a ways, close to her.

Better late than never. With everything going on I hadn't been in the woods yet. Still only have one camera out and no food plots lol. But finally in the woods.

We still at it up here. Over 60 birds flushed
I hate to sound so ignorant but are these quail, grouse? I can't see what they are but your dogs look like an old brother in law's quail dogs that he kept at my house for a while. I thought that quail were pretty scarce. Sorry, I'm not a hunter so I just don't know. lol

Ruffed grouse. And we have gotten into some woodcock

104 flushes in 8 days. HELL OF A TRIP better than we hoped in every single way

Saw a deer running through the field while I was dumping limbs on my brush pile. I could make out outline of another head through the grass, turned out to be a big coyote on the stalk. Made it back to the house and grabbed the 270....had to rush a shot offhand sitting on the tractor as it was jumping back into the wood. Found some blood but I figure just got it in the back end.....

He's hiding in the middle
