I moved to the south Charlotte area from northern Virginia last year. Sold the Jeep I had to get down here now I went and bought another. Just wanted to say hello and hopefully get out to the trails soon.

Local pick and pull junkyards? Need to get rid of these manual brakes.

Thanks,

Hey,
Another first timer on board. Ive been wheelin' twice now with my buds at uwharrie, and got the fever. I have a tough decision to make, I need you experienced guys (and girls) advice. I have a pristine low mileage 99' wrangler, and a few grand saved up for parts. My mechanic has an 89' f-250 that someone abandoned at his garage that I can get pretty cheap. Which route should I go? Jack up the Jeep or strip down the f-250??

First NC4x4 Post

I currently live outside Asheville, NC and have a 98 ZJ on 4" of lift, part ongoing project part daily driver :shaking:

My fiance is picking up a 98 XJ tomorrow, so starts the collection. This one will stay stock though.

Look forward to meeting some of you. I've been a member of JU for some time but looking for something more local.

Hi all
New guy checkin in and saying Hi

I drive a 2002 TJ
35's locked front and rear
longarms w/ tri-linked rear
and a few other extra's

Hey, im from canada, but drive to NC every week. Im looking for a snorkle kit for my 95 grande cherakee. can someone help?
GOOD GOD MAN! That's a lot of windshield time! Sorry I can't help with the snorkle. I'm assuming you drive a truck? (18 wheeler)

Thought I would stop by and introduce myself. I live in Charlotte and am dieing to find some local places to get my Pathfinder dirty. I've been to URE many times but that doesn't leave much room for spur of the moment trips. The Pathfinder's been lifted 3" in front by adjusting the torsion bars and lifted 5" in the rear using front 3" lift springs from a Grand Cherokee.

hey

Hey guys and gals. New to the forum and just thought I'd stop in an introduce myself. Names Stephen and I live in Hubert. Drive a 99 Chevy Tahoe, custom SAS up front, locked 5.13's, 14bff rear, 5.13's locked, copied ORD's shackle flip, 64" springs in rear, custom shackles, Atlas 5.0:1, 39.5" boggers 5.7l vortec. Just a few of the bigger mods that I've done. If you see any Bear Extreme Offroad stickers around that's my business. Just thought I'd say hey and introduce myself, If anybody needs anything don't hesitate to ask, and I'll do my best to help you out. If you can't get me on here I'm on the Coloradok5 and CarolinaK5 boards. Later....

Build the Jeep and buy the truck for a tow rig.

New to the board, but old to the sport. Hey all just taking a minute to introdice myself. My name is Paul, I've been wheeling anything that was 4wd since I was 15. But my main stay has been XJ's. I'm going to be moving to raleigh in a few months and would like to get to know my fellow wheelers before I come down. I just have to clean up a divorce and I'm all set.

hey

Im Harry I have an 02 4runner 2.5 in tundra/OME lift bfg A/T's arb bumper on the front and a custom fabbed bumper on the rear.

I just started my new project 85 soon hopefully to be running and lifted on 35's. I go to school in Auburn, AL but will be home in the summer and will likely will be up for a uwharrie trip.

Harry, got the body damage fixed on that 4runner of yours yet?

Hey there Casar. From Shelby here.
There's supposed to be a place in Hickory that does full restorations on Jeeps. If I can find the name, I'll get it to you.
