New thread.........right now

Steve, did you go back with shingles or a metal roof?
Nope, shingles. If they last 30 more years, it will be someone else’s problem.

Down at the beach house this week due to daughters Fall break from school and this is the current state of our side lot. Sod was put down last week and half of it died quickly. Sod farm was awesome agreeing that parts weren’t cut right / too thin and killed the roots. Came out today to take what’s dead. Come back Monday with fresh. Looks cool though now.

Dude, go play Tetris!

That chimney is in a terrible spot, I'm surprised the roofer didn't build a cricket behind it.
after all of these years, I had to look that up. Does make a lot of sense. I guess that since it did not have any issues in the last 40 years( no signs of any leaks) went back the same? I did change out the galv. flashing and put in SS. If I would have been more educated on crickets, I would have had the discussion with them for sure. Hopefully we stay good moving forward.

I'm still waiting for the picture to fully load - it looks pixelated.....

Man that "J" name really drives up the price. The TRX and the other SRT units at least get superchargers when the MSRP starts getting that high lol.

It's the funding DUCK factor

Added a new saw to my arsenal today. Needed one to fill the gap between my Stihl 462 and echo 2511. Having mostly heard good things about the 550xp I figured I would give it a try.

But it has a HEMI!!! That price tag hurt my feelings...especially since our 1st mortgage was $400/month.
That’s more than my current mortgage!!!

Thank God I live in a van down by the river
