I don't want to be the one to argue, but f*ck it it's never stopped me yet...are we really to that point now, where even we, on NC4x4 assume the intent from the POTUS...didn't realize NC4x4 traveled that far left yet. You'll find malice if you're looking for malice.

I disagree with the premise that if you disagree with an elected official you mist be from the other side of the isle. I say call feces from a cow bull shit now matter where it comes from

I whole heartedly agree. But there was no disagreement here or bull shit to call. The guy made a suggestion, maybe even a helpful one...and now even NC4x4 has stooped to the level of inferring malice from a rather simple comment...that's typically a tried and true tactic from the opposition. I'd say the same thing if it were an HRC tweet.

Some of you guys have to be exhausted trying to find the hidden meaning in every damn thing. Even if the comment was made to set himself up to take 100% credit, who cares? I'll still wake up with a job tomorrow, a roof over my head, the ability to vote in the next elections to make sure no one takes any undue credit in the future, and it will make absolutely zero impact on anyone's life.

For comparison. You know the guy that you work with that always has a suggestion for what ever you’re working on. Know how much you loathe him. Now that guys works for another company, in a different industry.

If you don’t get that analogy. The president has zero experience fighting fires. It is asinine for him to even open his mouth (fingers) to make a suggestion. And doing so makes himself out to be a pompous ass
 
From the standpoint of cultural heritage, this is terrible, 1st corner stone was laid in 1163. Surprised it hasn't burned before now, with two world wars, and a lot of history, hopefully no one was hurt, It's just a building, they can probably build it back just the way it was, maybe with a fire control system this time.

I guess I just ignore those guys/suggestions. Even if that guy ends up being right, great...he had a solution to the problem...then I ignore him when he gloats. Sticks and stones and whatnot.
 
We were there 5/6 year ago and they had just started construction then,might or might not be the same construction.I have a pic of the sign somewhere.The internet tin foil hat wearers are already out w how this happened.

Structures that are under construction have a vastly higher risk of fire than structures that aren't. That goes for new construction, renovations, interior upfit, it doesn't matter.

I agree.Esp w 800 year old dried timber,but it just surprised me how quick the conspiracy crowd started talking.Literally within an hour of it bein reported it had already started
