daisy is about dumb as they come. never have i seen a dog do a back flip trying to catch a leaf.... that was still attached the the limb. or that time she thought the water in the pond she just drank out of would be just like the ground and there she went nose down ass up thought i was going to have to go in after her.
 
Update on my little furry friend, PigPig. He's not little anymore but still the coolest dude ever.

One of the St Bernard breeders I was in contact with messaged me 5 days ago, to let me know they just had a litter of pups to a smooth coat female. Pending health analyses, the purple collar is mine. She’s 7 days old today.

And as luck would have it…I was at Incendiary in Winston yesterday…got talking to a couple that had a dog that looked exactly like my Josie. Sure enough it was a helluva good looking mastidane. In a twist of fate, they got him from a relatively new breeder, less than 20mins from me. He has a male and a female pup…female is tentatively spoken for, but I’m first on the waitlist…otherwise he’s planning another litter in 3-6 months.

Not gonna lie, the family has really been down in the dumps without a dog around the house. On a nightly basis the kids say they miss our dogs and pray at dinner/bed time to get another just like Keena/Josie. It’s the first time me or my wife have ever not had a dog in the house, even as kids. So we’re all super stoked.

Really just can’t contain my excitement…4 more weeks and this little bugger is mine. Expect unsolicited photo dumps. My girls and I binge watched all the Beethoven movies yesterday.

This is our ridgeback Taco..... whatever the temperature outside is, he wants to be the opposite. We were told they are hot weather dogs when we got him, but he wants to be 70 deg all the time.

Our new home has afforded him the luxury of having a bed directly in front of the woodstove, he also seems to enjoy chasing me on the tractor....he is pretty spoiled.
