I was recently told by my machinist fried the rule of thumb is 1.5 x the diameter of the bolt.
 
Never made it out to RR. How did you fair the storm? We just got some limbs on the ground is all. On a side note I stumbled across some welding rods at her house in Camden over the weekend. On investigating more I found a stick welder. I think it's one of those old buz box type ones as I call them. I'll text you a picture once I get to it. Glad to see you are almost done.
 
If I do I'm going to have to ride along. Going to look at another 1000xp tomorrow.

I was there then, back when that Cab Truck was fresh. Good times were had down there!!

I just read this whole build tread keep it up love to see something built without a big nice shop even though it would be nice to have.
 
That old thing, we call it Ol Mater my wife named it when our kids where younger and was in to Cars the movie Tow Maters cousin.
A buddy did a lot of the fab work to make where it is Brooks he's on here some. I been known to trade/sell my vehicles but the wife says if
Mater goes she goes so I'll keep both. We like to take it to local cruise ins it by far get the most attention of anything I've own so far .
